This would be a great role for early-career candidates with 3-8 years in manufacturing plant and who aspire to lead engineering and maintenance organizations at bigger facilities in the future.\nKey responsibilities\nKey responsibilities\nLead engineering masterplan for the site and execute smaller (less than $100,000) capital projects.\nEnd-to-end responsibility for capital execution (scope, budget, schedule and risk management).\nRegularly communicates to stakeholders within and outside the plant on project status.\nLead and coach the maintenance department.\nParticipate in developing and documenting maintenance plans for equipment as assigned. For example, determining work description, parts and tools required to complete plans, and how often maintenance is necessary to maintain a particular piece of equipment.\nAccurate and thorough documentation of all work performed using maintenance tracking system and/or technical reports (e.g. log books and work orders).\nPlanning schedules in SAP, ordering parts, and managing work schedules.\nRespond to equipment breakdowns both major and minor events. Response includes getting a description of the issue, prioritizing the repair, and taking actions with appropriate resources.\nResolve machine problems with effective troubleshooting using inside and outside support (e.g. parts mfg, material, mfg, machine mfg, etc.)\nPerform preventative, predictive, and diagnostic maintenance on production and facility equipment on a scheduled and/or required basis depending on the needs of the production facility.\nResearch and procurement of new materials, parts and supplies to improve equipment and resolve ongoing issues. Items such as writing work orders, contacting vendors, and installing parts on the machine.\nGeneral support of plant production and quality as assigned by Plant Leadership.\nAttend all safety meetings, report any safety incidents/accidents and understand and follow all Company and Plant Safety policies and Procedures.\nSupport for the SQF 2000 System.\nTrained in the Kerry HACCP program to identify critical steps and their instructions critical to effective implementation and maintenance of the Food Safety Plan.\nParticipate as a member of the food safety team.\nQualifications and skills\nQualifications And Skills\nEngineering degree or diploma in a relevant area (e.g., mechanical, chemical, electrical) is preferred\nPrevious maintenance supervisory experience preferred.\nProject management of greater than $100,000 capital preferred.\nKnowledge of SAP is preferred.\nDemonstrates communication, organization, and listening skills.\nExcellent attention to detail, neatness, and follow through.\nAbility to organize and handle multiple tasks.\nHas basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Suite)\nThe typical hiring range for this role is $70,100 - $109,000 annually and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).\nKerry is an equal opportunity employer.
