Our Clark facility is unique in the sense they have two buildings. The North building has a fruitier smell to it, the teams in that building are producing natural flavorings and essential oils. The South building is the complete opposite, it will have savoury and garlic smells because the team is producing seasonings for meat, chicken broth, and beef gravy.\n160 Terminal Ave, Clark, NJ 07066\n$27 + $.50 NIGHT SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL\nShift/Working Hours: 2:30 PM - 10:30PM\nKey responsibilities\nProduct Formulation from raw materials including but not limited to Compounding various liquid formulas and preparing emulsions used in product formulas.\nOperation, Cleaning and Maintenance or processing equipment\nBasic Understanding of Spray Dry technology\nOperation of various spray drying units to achieve desire results\nFollow all manufacturing instructions on formula batch sheet using proper compounding techniques to ensure product quality.\nPackaging of Finished Product associated with spray drying\nProperly label all batches submitted to the lab for evaluation.\nUtilize inventory lot rotation (FIFO) for all materials used.\nFollow all 5S and Good Manufacturing procedures to maintain good housekeeping and ensure compliance with all safety and environmental laws and regulations.\nProper handling of Allergen products and equipment according to Allergen Control Procedures\nResponsible for conformance to Food Safety and Food Quality Plans as described in the Kerry Clark SQF Systems manual. Must report any and all deviations to a member of management and QA- and set product aside until further instructed.\nOther duties assigned by Management\nQualifications and skills\nHS or equivalent experience\nMust have experience within the Flavour or a closely related industry.\nMust be proficient in compounding techniques and raw materials.\nPhysical Requirements:\nMust be able to lift up to 80 pounds and move up to 400 pounds. Must be able to operate forklifts and other equipment integral to the job functions. Must be able to see and distinguish between labels. Must be able to stand for extended periods and walk through the warehouse. Must be certified to wear a respirator and follow all rules regarding respirator wear.\nWorking Environment: Factory environment with exposure to flavors, and basic product chemicals and raw materials.\nCompensation Data\nThe pay rate for this position is $27.00 per hour.
