The role manages the day-to-day material call-off process, working closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to monitor supply, resolve shortages and delivery issues, and maintain reliable material availability.\nYou will manage purchase orders, supplier confirmations, inbound delivery exceptions and planning alerts, while monitoring supplier performance and escalating risks where necessary. This role is ideal for someone with strong materials planning, supplier coordination and SAP experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced supply chain environment.\nWork Location: 1 Powerhouse - Bandar Utama (5 mins walk from MRT)\nReporting To: Material Planning Team Lead\nKey responsibilities\nMaterial Planning & Call-Off\nManage the day-to-day material call-off process to ensure timely availability of materials.\nMonitor and resolve planning alerts, including rescheduling requirements, overcoverage, undercoverage and material shortages.\nProactively identify material supply risks and escalate issues to the appropriate stakeholders.\nPurchase Order Management\nManage the end-to-end ordering process, including:\nConverting purchase requisitions into purchase orders.\nIssuing purchase orders to suppliers.\nFollowing up and obtaining supplier order confirmations.\nReview open purchase orders and follow up on orders that have not been confirmed by suppliers.\nMonitor inbound deliveries and investigate short or incomplete deliveries.\nSupplier & Stakeholder Management\nMaintain effective communication with internal stakeholders and external suppliers through SAP, email and Microsoft Teams.\nWork closely with suppliers to resolve material availability, delivery and supply concerns.\nMonitor supplier OTIF (On-Time In-Full) performance and maintain accurate reason codes for delivery failures.\nEscalate supplier performance issues to the relevant Category Material Planner when required.\nTolling & Subcontracting\nCoordinate tolling and subcontracting activities where applicable.\nManage the dispatch of materials to external suppliers or subcontractors.\nEnsure relevant component information is accurately maintained within purchase orders.\nMaster Data & New Product Introduction\nIdentify and flag master data issues affecting material call-off and supply planning.\nSupport the maintenance of relevant SKU planning data.\nCoordinate master data requirements relating to New Product Introduction (NPI) with the Planning Data Analyst.\nKey Shared Accountabilities\nCollaborate with suppliers, procurement, planning and other Supply Chain stakeholders to maintain material availability and continuity of supply.\nSupport timely resolution and escalation of material shortages and supplier delivery issues.\nContribute to improvements in supplier delivery performance, material availability and planning accuracy.\nMaintain accurate and timely information within SAP to support effective supply chain decision-making.\nQualifications and skills\nEducation: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.\nExperience: 3 to 5 years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, Material Planning, Procurement, or a related supply chain role.\nIndustry Experience: Experience within food ingredients, flavours, food manufacturing, or beverage industries is preferred but not essential.\nSystems & Tools: Experience working with an ERP system, preferably SAP.\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.\nExperience with Power BI or other data/reporting tools would be an advantage.\nBeware of scams online or from individuals claiming to represent us.
