provides experienced, visible leadership across site manufacturing operations, ensuring the safe, compliant and efficient delivery of customer requirements.\nThe role is accountable for production performance and for embedding a sustainable continuous improvement culture that strengthens Safety, Quality, Service, Cost, People and Sustainability outcomes.\nWorking as a key member of the Site Leadership Team, the role aligns Production, Engineering, Food Safety & Quality, Supply Chain and support functions around clear priorities, disciplined performance routines and practical improvement plans.\nKey responsibilities\nIn this role you will:\nImprove site performance across Safety, Quality, Service, Cost, People, and Sustainability metrics.\nConsistently deliver production plans while improving efficiency and reliability.\nBuild a strong pipeline of continuous improvement projects with verified business benefits.\nEnhance audit readiness and compliance performance.\nDevelop a highly capable and engaged manufacturing team.\nCreate a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous learning.\nDevelop High-Performing Teams\nBuild an engaged, accountable, and inclusive manufacturing culture.\nCoach and develop operational leaders and frontline teams.\nStrengthen succession planning and capability development across the function.\nPartner Across the Business\nCollaborate closely with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, HR, and other site functions.\nLead cross-functional projects and improvement programmes that deliver sustainable business results.\nProvide operational insight and strategic input to the Site Leadership Team.\n.\nLead Safe and Compliant Operations\nChampion a safety-first culture through visible leadership and proactive risk management.\nEnsure compliance with health & safety, environmental, food safety, quality, and regulatory standards.\nLead incident investigations and ensure effective, sustainable corrective actions are implemented.\nDeliver Operational Excellence\nLead day-to-day manufacturing operations to achieve production plans and customer service commitments.\nDrive performance against key metrics including OTIF, OEE, yield, waste reduction, throughput, and labour productivity.\nEnsure resources, equipment, materials, and people are aligned to business demand.\nDrive Continuous Improvement\nDevelop and execute a site continuous improvement roadmap aligned to business priorities.\nLead Lean initiatives and coach teams in structured problem solving and operational excellence methodologies.\nDeliver measurable improvements in efficiency, reliability, quality, and cost performance\nQualifications and skills\nDegree qualified or equivalent experience in Manufacturing, Engineering, Food Science, or a related discipline.\nSignificant leadership experience within food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or another regulated manufacturing environment.\nProven track record of leading operational performance in a complex manufacturing setting.\nStrong understanding of health & safety, quality, food safety, and environmental requirements.\nExperience leading Lean, Continuous Improvement, and operational transformation initiatives.\nStrong analytical and commercial mindset with the ability to translate data into action.\nExperience managing production planning, resource utilisation, and operational performance.\nOutstanding people leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.\nIOSH or NEBOSH qualification.\nHACCP/Food Safety Level 3 certification.\nLean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent.\nExperience with SAP or similar ERP systems.\nProject leadership experience with demonstrated delivery of measurable business
