A career with Kerry offers you an opportunity to shape the future of food while providing you opportunities to explore and grow in a truly global environment.\nKey responsibilities\nMonitor and optimize the chemical and technical aspects of all vinegar production on site.\nTroubleshoot and maintain equipment, utilities, process control systems, and bacterial colony growth and health.\nLead and participate in process improvement projects to enhance vinegar production and process efficiency.\nDevelop and deliver training programs to improve operator skills and knowledge of the vinegar fermentation process.\nAssist in troubleshooting production issues caused by contamination, equipment malfunctions, and human error.\nParticipate in process and equipment risk assessments to improve engineering design and safety.\nEnsure compliance with Quality & Food Safety policies and management systems.\nReport any failures of the Quality & Food Safety Management Systems to site management.\nDemonstrate leadership in safety and environmental practices.\nEnforce safety rules and encourage safe work behaviors.\nAssist with SAP documentation and training as required.\nSupport plant production activities, including sampling and testing, as needed.\nQualifications and skills\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering required.\nAlternatively, a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field with 3+ years of food or pharmaceutical industry experience in a technical support role.\n2-5 years of experience in a similar manufacturing environment preferred.\nProgramming experience preferred.\nStrong leadership skills.\nHighly motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nExperience supporting process optimization and troubleshooting activities.\nAbility to train and develop operators on technical processes.\nAbility to participate in process and equipment risk assessments.\nAbility to travel up to 50%.\nAbility to climb stairs and catwalks, lift up to 50 pounds, work in confined spaces, and work around vinegar fumes and odors.\nCompensation Data\nThe pay range for this position is $63,000 - $103,450 in Annual Salary. Kerry typically does not hire an individual at the top or near the top of the range, as we are a pay-for-performance company, and this range is set to continue to reward performance annually while in role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate within the above range may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience, and internal equity. In addition, this position is also eligible to earn a performance-based incentive compensation.
