People may not realize we're more than just great taste when it comes to food and beverage products - we truly are committed to nutrition and sciences as well!\nShift 7p - 7a on a 2-2-3 schedule\nKey responsibilities\nRole Description, Skills, Experience and Qualifications required: Essential Duties and Responsibilities:\nEffectively work with the team to maintain a safe and efficient work force.\nWork in collaboration with production operatives to ensure an effective quality program\nEfficiently and effectively implement Food Safety and Quality procedures through pre operational inspections, GMP audits, and facility walkthroughs.\nHandle and dispense chemicals, ensuring proper PPE is maintained at all times\nUnderstand clean up procedures and SSOPs for all plant equipment.\nSupport the root cause analysis, implementation of resolutions and close out of issues / incidents which have been identified as part of audit or sanitation monitoring activities.\nPlay a crucial role in food safety by preventing contamination and maintaining hygiene standards in accordance with company policies.\nResponsible for manufacturing, distributing and consistently maintaining safe and quality food by following good manufacturing practices, allergen controls, food defense, HACCP, SQF, and regulatory requirements\nKeeps immediate supervisor informed of relevant activities on shift and takes or recommends corrective action when required.\nAttend production Tier 1 meetings and conduct shift hands off with fellow technicians, giving full reports on shift activities.\nConduct environmental monitoring sampling and testing and aid in investigation for positive results\nAssist the Supervisor or Manager in conducting special tasks or projects that may require organizing or researching a project.\nAssist in investigations as needed\nRequired to have the flexibility to move between all shifts to conduct the necessary training and cover for vacancies as needed.\nFlexibility and willingness to perform tasks where assigned and as differing situations arise. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.\nEducation:\nMust have a high school diploma or GED.\nPreferred Skills & Qualifications:\nTwo to three years of lab and quality assurance experience and/or bachelor’s degree is preferred.\nMinimum one year sanitation experience, knowledge of food ingredients is a plus.\nAbility to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.\nMust use logical thought processes and deductive reasoning.\nAbility to communicate verbally and in written form.\n2. Minimum of one year in Quality experience preferred, food manufacturing is a plus\n3. Must have HS Diploma or GED\n4. Must have good oral and written communication skills\n5. Ability to perform basic math skills\n6. Willing to perform all tasks when and where assigned and as changing situations arise\n7.
