Working within a multidisciplinary research team, you'll apply microbiology and molecular biology expertise to investigate probiotic and postbiotic solutions, generate scientific insights, and help advance Kerry's next generation of science-backed health innovations.\nKey responsibilities\nUtilise, internalise and develop preclinical models to discover and characterise new functional ingredients to positively impact human health\nCollaboratively develop and execute clear research project plans, analyse and interpret results using appropriate analysis tools and statistics\nCollaborate on preparation of scientific publications, protocols, technical project reports and presentations for stakeholders\nProvide scientific and technological support for laboratory projects as assigned/needed\nParticipate in a culture of curiosity, continuous learning and original idea generation to drive the development of innovative solutions to support human and companion animal health\nCross-functional collaboration with scientific teams in complementary business areas\nTechnical Expertise\nRequired technical proficiency:Anaerobic bacterial culture\nProbiotic/postbiotic characterisation\nTraditional microbiology techniques\nMolecular Biology\n\nTechnical experience a plus:C. elegans preclinical models\nMicroscopy experience Traditional cell culture\nOrganoid and 3D cell culture systems\nFlow cytometry\n\nQualifications and skills\nEducational qualifications: Bachelors or Masters degree (or equivalent) in a biomedical sciences field, PhD desirable\nFull professional proficiency in English and German\nSystems skills: MS Office, GraphPad Prism, experience with R, bioinformatics analysis a plus\nExperience to prepare professional scientific reports\nEffective written and oral communication skills\nExperienced in good experimental design and accurate record keeping\nIndependent, self-starter, with demonstrated ability to simultaneously\nBenefits\nAt Kerry, we believe in creating an inclusive and flexible work environment that empowers our employees across Europe.
