You will play a key role in strengthening the site's safety culture, driving environmental sustainability and continuously improving EHS performance across all operations.\nIt is ideal for an experienced EHS professional with a strong manufacturing background who can work closely with site leadership, influence stakeholders at all levels and lead a team towards achieving a safe, compliant and sustainable working environment.\nKey responsibilities\nEHS Strategy & Site Management\nDevelop and drive site EHS strategies, objectives and improvement plans.\nProvide EHS leadership and guidance across all departments.\nDrive Kerry's LIFE Saving Rules and global safety initiatives.\nMonitor EHS KPIs and drive continuous improvement.\nIdentify workplace hazards and implement preventive measures.\nRegulatory Compliance & EHS Management Systems\nEnsure compliance with Malaysian EHS legislation, including OSHA and EQA.\nLead ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 implementation and compliance.\nEnsure adherence to Kerry's EHS standards, RSA and SEDEX requirements.\nLead EHS audits, inspections and corrective actions.\nMonitor and report EHS performance and compliance.\nEnvironmental & Sustainability Management\nOversee scheduled waste, WWTP/IETS and environmental compliance.\nEnsure proper handling and disposal of hazardous waste.\nDrive energy efficiency, waste reduction and sustainability initiatives.\nMonitor environmental performance and manage associated risks.\nTeam Leadership & Employee Development\nLead, coach and develop the site EHS team.\nDrive EHS training and competency development.\nSupport SHC, ERT, Green Team and ISO committees.\nConduct regular site inspections and safety reviews.\nStakeholder Engagement & Safety Culture\nPartner with plant leadership and departments to drive EHS compliance.\nLead Safety and Health Committee meetings.\nDrive safety awareness and employee engagement initiatives.\nCollaborate with regional EHS teams on best practices.\nBuild a strong safety culture and accountability across the site.\nQualifications and skills\nBachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering or a related discipline.\nRelevant professional certification or registration as a competent EHS practitioner, such as Safety and Health Officer (SHO/Green Book holder), is essential.\nStrong experience in EHS management within a manufacturing or industrial environment, preferably with exposure to multinational companies.\nSound knowledge of Malaysian EHS legislation, particularly OSHA and Environmental Quality Act requirements.\nProven experience implementing and maintaining ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems.\nExperience managing EHS audits, regulatory inspections, risk assessments and corrective action programmes.\nGood understanding of environmental management, including scheduled waste, wastewater treatment and environmental compliance.\nExperience leading and developing an EHS team, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders across different organisational levels.\nStrong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to drive accountability and influence safety behaviours.\nExcellent organisational, analytical and problem-solving capabilities.\nStrong presentation and training skills, with the ability to deliver effective EHS awareness programmes.\nProactive, independent and results-oriented, with strong ownership of EHS performance and compliance.\nAbility to balance operational priorities with long-term EHS objectives and continuous improvement.\nA strong commitment to workplace safety, environmental sustainability and operational excellence.\nBeware of scams online or from individuals claiming to represent us.
