From data centres to branch networks and cloud platforms, we design secure, automated environments that are built to scale. It’s all about creating resilient foundations that keep businesses connected, supported and ready for what’s next. \nRole & responsibilities: \nYou’ll be working nights to facilitate the delivery of out of hours planned work and to cover P1 and P2 incidents that occur. \nWork closely with solution architects, functional consultants & clients to understand business processes, requirements, and key objectives. \nProvide advanced support for network and security incidents & service requests \nLead implementation of change requests and project tasks \nThe role will include maintenance, software upgrades, hardware replacements. It will also involve resolving emergency P1/P2 incidents that may occur \nTroubleshoot complex networking/security issues across customer environments \nManage ISP circuits and liaise with providers as needed \nWho we are looking for: \nRequired Experience & skills: \n4-5 years’ experience in a network & security support role \nExperience working within ITIL-aligned support processes and managing incidents, requests, and changes through ServiceNow. \nHands-on experience in SD-WAN deployment, administration, and troubleshooting, preferably with VMware VeloCloud and Silver Peak \nStrong knowledge of network security technologies, including Fortinet, Palo Alto, Zscaler, IPS/IDS, Web Filtering, Secure Web Gateways (SWG), and Firewall Policy Management. \nStrong understanding of advanced routing and switching protocols, including OSPF, BGP, MPLS, and Layer 2/Layer 3 networking. \nExperience managing and troubleshooting ISP circuits and WAN connectivity issues. \nHands-on experience with Infoblox DDI solutions, including DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management (IPAM). \nExperience with network monitoring and observability platforms, including SNMP and API-based monitoring tools. \nExperience with load balancing technologies, preferably F5. \nStrong hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies, including enterprise routing, switching, and network troubleshooting. \nExperience with Juniper networking and security solutions, including routing, switching, and firewall technologies. \nWe’re also looking for people that fit how we work, which is something like; \nhappiest working under their own direction, but fully supported when needed \nan obvious attention to detail, we want you to obsess about the little things! \nability to identify and pick up new processes and software platforms quickly \nability to work effectively with remote teams in India \nability to work flexibly to deliver on-time to tight timescales \nDon’t take our word for it though, check out our impartialGlass Doorreviews \nAt Kerv, we’re building something special and we’re building it to last.
