This is not simply our job, it’s our passion.\nJob Summary\nGuest focused Resort Manager who will be assisting the GM by overseeing the daily management and providing strategic direction of the operations. Planning and supervising the activities of an extensive and diverse workforce to ensure the smooth and profitable running of business. Enhance customer dedication and expand clientele by strengthening the Resort reputation and the guest experience. The successful candidate is required to ensure the Resort continually exceeds guest expectations and establishes an environment that motivates colleagues and that helps for their development and growth. Will ensure compliance with licensing laws, health, hygiene, safety and other statutory regulations.\nKey Duties & Responsibilities\nTo oversee the daily operations of the resort as well as provide strategic direction and clear objectives for all departments including F&B Service and Culinary, Events, Rooms & Activities, Spa, Facilities, Security, etc.)\nPlan activities and allocate responsibilities, supervising an extensive large workforce to ensure the smooth and profitable running of business and achieve the most efficient operating model\n\nManage budgets/expenses, analyze and interpret financial information and monitor sales and profits\n\nWork Closely with Sales & Marketing to develop and implement an intuitive and efficient sales & marketing strategy to promote the hotel’s services\n\nCommunicate with guests and engage them (welcome them to the facilities, address their concerns, find solutions to problems, offer information, etc.)\n\nAddress maintenance issues, equipment, renovations, manning, etc.\n\nCollaborate with partners and ensure the best are selected to work with\n\nInspect facilities regularly and enforce strict compliance with health and safety standards\n\nWork closely with the quality management department\n\nEnsure updated processes and procedures are implemented and applied to guarantee compliance across the resort\n\nEnsure quality and service standards are well understood and applied by all colleagues & leaders, set and follow high targets and support the team for achieving them\n\nEnsure learning & development plans are set and followed for the operational teams\n\nSet Colleague Engagement action plans and follow to ensure satisfaction, loyalty and dedication of the teams\n\nSkills, Experience & Educational Requirements\nMinimum of a bachelor's degree in Hotel & Business Management\n\nProven experience as Hotel Manager or relevant senior leadership role, minimum of 5 years, large volume\n\nStrong working experience in the United States is required, international experience would be an advantage\n\nStrong background in F&B plus experience in hotel operations\n\nDemonstrated strong leadership abilities\n\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills\n\nFluency with the English language, both written and spoken, is required; knowledge of other languages would be an advantage\n\nOutstanding aptitude in decision making and problem solving\n\nA strong business mindset in planning, organizing and analyzing figures and market\n\nA strong financial acumen\n\nProficient with typical computer systems to include Microsoft Office, Opera, Micros, and other typical hotel programs\n\nPhysical Requirements\nThe ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
