Home to the prestigious Keswick Golf Club, Marigold Restaurant, by Jean-Georges, a new luxury spa and sports and aquatics center.\nThe Executive Housekeeper oversees and supervises the Housekeeping Department in collaboration with the Hotel Manager.\nKeswick offers an opportunity to grow and develop your career in an environment that provides a fulfilling workplace for employees, creates an environment for continuous learning, and embraces the ideas and diversity of others.\nIn addition, we offer a robust benefits package including health, dental, vision, life and disability; a competitive PTO offering, as well as 401(k).\nESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES\nResponsible for cleanliness, orderliness and appearance of the entire Hotel and Club.\nComplete Public Area Walk Through three times per shift.\nEnsure rooms are made as per company standard and completed before check in time (4pm).\nDaily Inspection of work behind line employees.\nDaily inspection of public areas and employee’s locker rooms.\nCoordinates the preventive maintenance schedule of rooms and public area with maintenance department.\nOrganize on-the job training and evaluate its effectiveness\nMaintain par stock of guest supplies, cleaning supplies, linen and uniforms\nUnderstand and prepare housekeeping scheduling process\nOrganize inventories with Accounts for linen, cleaning supplies and fixed assets\nConduct pre-shift meeting and distribute assignments\nAssist with the completion of all monthly inventory’s reports\nDevelop and implement Housekeeping systems and procedures\nAttending and resolving guest complaints.\nWork closely with all departments ensuring communication flows effectively.\nMonitor guest comments or complaints and respond to them; communicate comments through the “Glitch process”\nDaily briefing of Supervisors/ Executives\nTrain, direct the work of, resolve issues/problems and coach and counsel the front housekeeping team members to ensure a quality operation.\nBe a positive role model. Be effective when handling situations with line staff.\nPerform other duties as assigned. \nQUALIFICATIONS\nKNOWLEDGE\nKnowledge in understanding/creating a budget. \nStrong Operational/Technical Knowledge. \nKnowledge of commercial laundry facility operations and procedures.\nKnowledge and use of proper chemicals.\nKnowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.).\nSKILLS AND ABILITIES\nStrong Spanish language skills preferred. \nExcellent communication skills, both written and oral.\nStrong leadership abilities and organizational skills. \nEntrepreneurial, thinks out of the box and able to drive change and look for operational efficiencies / synergies across the network.\nSUPERVISION\nPosition functions semi-autonomously. Position directly supervises employees. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities may include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.\nEDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE\nMinimum of a Diploma in hotel management (or equivalent) and 5 years of housekeeping leadership experience preferably in luxury hotels/resorts.
