This position works closely with the Logistics, Distribution, Customer Service, Sales, Accounts Payable, and other internal and external contacts.\nEssential Functions and Responsibilities:\nApplies bank receipts to the Accounts Receivable ledger timely and accurately.\nPerforms collection efforts for past due invoices and deduction disputes.\nObtains backup for deductions by contacting customers, or using websites to pull documentation.\nConducts research to validate deductions, obtain approvals as necessary, and determine if there is an accrual to offset the deduction.\nCommunicates with internal and external contacts to resolve deductions, which involves responding timely and utilizing both written and verbal methods.\nCorrelates documentation for invalid deductions for initiating disputes and recovering payments. \nUtilizes organization and time management skills to keep emails, electronic files, and hardcopy documentation ordered and organized such that the risk of loss or misplacement is minimized.\nResponsible for keeping outstanding unresolved deductions current with no outstanding unresolved deductions over 180 days old.\nPerforms such individual assignments as management may direct.\nEstablishes and maintains effective work relationships within the company.\nRequirements\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\n3 plus years experience with accounts receivable, invoice collection, chargeback resolution, Manufacturing Industry preferred\nResult oriented self-starter.\nPossesses leadership qualities, including the ability to work within a team to help further advance the capabilities of others.\nStrong time management, organizational skills, and ability to multi-task\nMust display attention to detail, problem solving, results orientation, and continuous improvement mindset.\nAbility to utilize a PC, including strong skills in Microsoft Excel (V-lookups, Pivot Tables), Outlook and Word.\nSAP experience preferred.\nExcellent communications skills, both written and verbal.\nInterpersonal skills to work effectively with others.\nAbility to adapt to change and learn new processes.\nAbility to
