The position will be based out of the Bayport site located in Pasadena, Texas.\nRequirement\nExperience in safe in-plant maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment\nHighly experienced in close tolerances and use of dial indicators, dial calipers, micrometers and other precision measuring equipment achieving measurements down to .0001\".\nGood verbal communication skills\nPast history of excellent quality results in daily work activities\nMust be motivated and self-directed\nMust have the ability to work in a team environment\nGood written and electronic communication skills\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent\n5 years of Journeyman Millwright experience.\nWorking knowledge of mechanical and laser alignment systems.\nAbility to Work straight nights 9/80 schedule\nAbility to complete daily equipment documentation\nAbility to interpret drawings and manuals\nPreference\nWorking knowledge of both pump and conveyor functions\nWorking knowledge of hydraulic pumps, motors, reactors and actuators\nWorking knowledge of mechanical and laser alignment systems.\nThorough understanding of how bearing condition, alignment, structural support, and piping stress affect equipment MTBF\nAn understanding of preventative and predictive maintenance procedures\nWorking knowledge of the purpose and installation of mechanical seals\nWorking knowledge of lubrication best practices\nBasic knowledge of mag- drive pumps\nBasic knowledge of lathe, milling machine, drill press and other machine shop duties\n2-Year Technical Degree in Mechanical field or NCCER Millwright Certification\nExperience in repair and maintenance of rotary kilns.\nNCCCO Certified Crane Operator\nExperience working on air compressors\nJob Duties\nSafe maintenance and repair of mechanical rotating equipment\nProper handling and installation of mechanical seals\nInterpretation of mechanical designs and maintenance manuals\nUse of a wide variety of hand, portable, and stationary power
