These systems range from relay logic and single-loop controllers to advanced PLC, HMI, SCADA, and networked automation platforms.\nThis role plays a critical part in connecting automation technology with coffee roasting, packaging, and distribution processes to improve safety, product quality, manufacturing efficiency, and operational reliability.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, develop, implement, and optimize automation solutions that improve employee safety, product quality, manufacturing efficiency, and cost performance.\n\nSupport the commissioning, startup, troubleshooting, and optimization of new and existing manufacturing equipment.\n\nDesign, implement, and maintain industrial automation and control networks.\n\nManage control system documentation, software revisions, and change control processes.\n\nEnsure system reliability and business continuity by following industry standards and engineering best practices.\n\nDevelop the automation capabilities of maintenance and engineering teams by providing training and technical guidance to improve troubleshooting skills.\n\nDevelop and support data acquisition and reporting systems that align with site and company objectives.\n\nLead automation-focused capital and continuous improvement projects from planning through execution.\n\nCoordinate activities with engineering, maintenance, operations, vendors, and contractors to support automation initiatives.\n\nPartner with manufacturing leaders to improve automated systems and production processes.\n\nCollaborate with other Keurig Dr Pepper engineering teams on cross-functional initiatives.\n\nDevelop and deliver training for maintenance and operations personnel.\n\nFollow all company safety policies, procedures, ergonomic standards, and quality requirements.\n\nPrioritize work based on production needs and business objectives.\n\nPerform other duties as assigned.\n\nSuccess Profile\nSuccessful candidates will demonstrate:\nStrong technical troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.\n\nConfidence, integrity, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\n\nExcellent communication and technical writing skills.\n\nMechanical aptitude with a continuous improvement mindset.\n\nStrong collaboration and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across multiple departments.\n\nAbility to interpret technical documentation, follow work instructions, and calibrate instrumentation.\n\nCommitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.\n\nFlexibility to support changing production priorities while maintaining high performance.\n\nTotal Rewards:\nTargeted annual compensation range of $85,000-$105,000.\nThis is a salaried, exempt position paid biweekly. Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience. \nBenefits (Effective Day One, Where Applicable):\nMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance\n\nDisability Coverage\n\nPaid Time Off (including vacation and sick leave)\n\n401(k) with company match\n\nTuition Reimbursement\n\nMileage Reimbursement\n\nBenefits are subject to eligibility requirements and applicable collective bargaining agreements.\nRequirements:\nBachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.\n\n5+ years of industrial automation experience within a manufacturing environment.\n\nExtensive PLC programming experience is required.\n\nStrong experience with Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation systems, including:\nFactoryTalk Suite\n\nLogix Platform\n\nAllen-Bradley industrial networks\n\nWorking knowledge of OPC-UA architecture and industrial communication protocols.\n\nExperience supporting Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).\n\nPreferred Skills\nHands-on electrical experience with industrial control panels and electrical circuits.\n\nExperience with robotic control systems, preferably FANUC.\n\nWorking knowledge of SCADA systems.\n\nExperience with Beckhoff and Siemens automation platforms.\n\nKnowledge of variable frequency drives (VFDs) and servo systems, preferably Allen-Bradley and Rexroth.\n\nExperience with Visual Basic and database applications is a plus.\n\nUnderstanding of industrial networking and computer systems.\n\nLean Manufacturing experience preferred.\n\nAbility to work outside of normal business hours when required to support production.\n\nCompany Overview:\nKeurig Dr Pepper (Nasdaq: KDP) is a leading beverage company with more than 150 owned, licensed and partner brands that meet a wide range of needs and occasions.
