This role partners with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering to troubleshoot issues, improve reliability, and implement sustainable process improvements.\nUsing engineering principles, data analysis, automation expertise, and continuous improvement methods, this position helps improve safety, quality, productivity, capacity, and cost performance across the manufacturing operation.\nPosition Responsibilities\nAnalyze manufacturing processes, production data, automation systems, and equipment performance to identify improvement opportunities.\n\nProvide engineering support and troubleshoot process, equipment, and production issues.\n\nDevelop and implement process improvements to increase productivity, reduce waste, and improve reliability and quality.\n\nParticipate in root cause analysis and corrective action efforts for production and equipment issues.\n\nSupport Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives, including standard work, waste reduction, problem solving, and TPM.\n\nMonitor manufacturing performance metrics and recommend data-driven solutions to address performance gaps.\n\nMaintain process standards, specifications, operating procedures, work instructions, and technical documentation.\n\nSupport production trials, process changes, equipment installations, technology implementations, and new product introductions.\n\nEvaluate process and equipment changes for impacts on safety, quality, capacity, reliability, and cost.\n\nPartner with Maintenance and Engineering to improve equipment reliability, automation performance, and asset effectiveness.\n\nSupport capital projects through process requirements, equipment selection, installation, commissioning, and startup.\n\nDevelop and maintain process metrics, dashboards, and reports to measure performance and improvement results.\n\nIdentify and implement automation, controls, and technology solutions that improve manufacturing performance.\n\nTrain and support production employees and supervisors on processes, equipment, and improvements.\n\nWork with OEMs, system integrators, contractors, and other technical partners to resolve issues and implement solutions.\n\nEnsure manufacturing processes and automation systems meet company safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.\n\nParticipate in cross-functional improvement teams and help sustain improvements over time.\n\nTotal Rewards:\nTargeted annual compensation range of $80,000-$95,000.\nThis is a salaried, exempt position paid biweekly. Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience. \nBenefits (Effective Day One, Where Applicable):\nMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance\n\nDisability Coverage\n\nPaid Time Off (including vacation and sick leave)\n\n401(k) with company match\n\nTuition Reimbursement\n\nMileage Reimbursement\n\nBenefits are subject to eligibility requirements and applicable collective bargaining agreements.\nRequirements:\nEducation\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field required.\n\nEquivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.\n\nAdvanced degree is a plus.\n\nExperience\n5+ years of experience in industrial automation, controls, manufacturing engineering, or related technical functions within a manufacturing, distribution, or automated material handling environment.\n\nExperience with Allen-Bradley PLC platforms, including ControlLogix and/or CompactLogix.\n\nExperience with FactoryTalk, HMIs, VFDs, servo systems, industrial networking, and automated manufacturing equipment.\n\nAbility to troubleshoot electrical controls, instrumentation, robotics, vision systems, and automated equipment.\n\nExperience supporting automation projects, equipment installations, system upgrades, commissioning, and startup.\n\nKnowledge of root cause analysis, preventive and predictive maintenance, Lean Manufacturing, TPM, and continuous improvement.\n\nExperience collaborating with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, and external technical partners.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in high-speed manufacturing, food and beverage, consumer packaged goods, or automated distribution.\n\nFamiliarity with SCADA systems, industrial Ethernet networks, SQL databases, data historians, or manufacturing data systems.\n\nKnowledge of conveyors, sortation, robotics, AGVs/AMRs, ASRS, or other automated material handling systems.\n\nExperience with MES, machine vision, motion control, or Industry 4.0 technologies.\n\nLean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement certification.\n\nExperience supporting capital projects, equipment selection, and automation investments.\n\nDemonstrated success improving safety, quality, productivity, capacity, reliability, or cost.\n\nCompany Overview:\nKeurig Dr Pepper (Nasdaq: KDP) is a leading beverage company with more than 150 owned, licensed and partner brands that meet a wide range of needs and occasions.
