The ideal candidate will work closely with Product, Engineering and QA teams to design and execute automated tests across web applications, APIs and integrations. You will play an important role in building scalable test automation, identifying quality gaps, and ensuring a smooth release process.\n\nResponsibilities: \nDesign, develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for web applications and APIs.\nCreate and execute functional, regression, integration and end-to-end test cases\nAutomate repetitive manual testing scenarios and continuously improve test coverage.\nPerform API testing using tools such as Postman, REST Assured or similar.\nTest web applications using automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright or Cypress.\nIdentify, investigate and report defects with clear reproduction steps and supporting evidence.\nWork closely with developers to debug failures, identify root causes and validate fixes.\nIntegrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.\nMaintain test suites and ensure they remain reliable as the product evolves.\nParticipate in code reviews and contribute to improving automation framework quality.\nWork with product and engineering teams to define test strategy and quality standards for new features.\nContribute to performance, reliability and integration testing where required.\n\nRequirements: \n3-5 years of experience in software testing/automation/SDET roles.\nStrong understanding of software testing concepts and methodologies.\nGood programming skills in at least one language: Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript.\nHands-on experience with at least one automation framework: Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, if mobile testing is involved.\nStrong understanding of API testing and REST APIs.\nExperience with Postman, REST Assured or equivalent tools.\nGood understanding of SQL and databases.\nFamiliarity with Git/GitHub/GitLab.\nBasic understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or similar.\nGood understanding of debugging, defect lifecycle and root-cause analysis.\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills.\n\nGood to Have: \nExperience testing AI/ML or LLM-based systems.\nFamiliarity with Docker, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), and microservices.\nExposure to performance, load, or chaos
