Keycard gives every agent a verified identity and issues short-lived, task-scoped credentials at runtime, so agents can only do what they were asked to do, and every action is fully auditable. We're backed by a16z, Boldstart, and Acrew, and our founding team built and scaled Snyk, Auth0, HashiCorp, and Heroku.\nThe role\nWe're hiring a Product Manager to own how teams evaluate Keycard, and the developer experience they meet when they do.\nKeycard is a control plane for agents: identity, credential exchange, delegation, policy, and audit. Every customer starts with an evaluation, and today a field engineer runs each one by hand: setup, first credential exchange, integration questions. Your job is to turn that walkthrough into product, so an evaluation can run well without us in the room.\nYou'll define what a successful evaluation looks like for an agent-identity product, instrument the journey so we can see where evaluators stall, then work with engineering to fix the worst spots. Sometimes the fix is a feature, more often it's a better quickstart, a template repo, an error message that says what to do next, or a docs page that assumed too much context.\nExpect to spend real time with the people running evaluations: watching onboarding sessions, sitting in on field-engineering walkthroughs, reading support threads, and finding out why a team went quiet mid-eval.\nWhat you'll do\nOwn the evaluation journey end to end, from first touch through first credential exchange to a production decision, including how each stage is defined and measured.\n\nSet the evaluation milestones and metrics that product, engineering, and go-to-market all report against.\n\nOwn the developer experience an evaluation runs on: SDK quickstarts, CLI onboarding, console setup, docs, and template repos.\n\nDrive time-to-first-credential-exchange down, and be the voice of developer ergonomics in engineering's API and CLI design discussions.\n\nTurn what field engineering does by hand into self-guided paths: eval guides, reference architectures, in-product guidance. Run experiments and cut the ones that don't work.\n\nWork with DevRel and marketing on how evaluations start, and with sales and field engineering on when a self-guided eval needs a human in the room.\n\nWhat we're looking for\nYou've been a PM on a developer product where evaluation and adoption were your numbers (dev tools, infrastructure, API platforms, or security).\n\nTechnical enough to be credible with engineers. You can read an SDK quickstart and see where a developer would bounce, follow an API design discussion, and pull your own numbers in SQL or an analytics tool.\n\nYou have taste in developer experience. You can articulate why one CLI feels good and another doesn't, and you notice error messages, defaults, and docs structure the way a designer notices spacing.\n\nYou build with AI tools yourself and follow the agent ecosystem closely enough to have real opinions about it.\n\nYou start from instrumentation. If the data you need doesn't exist, you get it added before forming theories about where evaluations drop off.\n\nComfortable in a category with no playbook. Agent identity is new, and a lot of this job is deciding which questions are worth answering.\n\nYou write clearly. Much of this role's output is docs, problem statements, and experiment readouts that other people act on.\n\nStrong candidates may also have\nAn engineering background before product; you've shipped code and understand what you're asking engineers to do.\n\nExperience productizing a high-touch motion: turning field playbooks, POC guides, or solutions-engineering work into product.\n\nFamiliarity with identity/auth concepts (OAuth, OIDC, token exchange, delegation) or agent protocols (MCP, A2A).\n\nExperience with growth tooling: product analytics, experimentation frameworks, lifecycle messaging.\n\nDocs, quickstarts, or templates you shipped that developers actually used.\n\nWho will love this job\nYou'd rather ship a fix this week than present a strategy deck about it next month.\n\nYou treat quickstarts and docs as product surfaces that deserve real design attention.\n\nYou want to define the evaluation motion for a new category from scratch.\n\nYou like being early: small team, direct access to founders and customers, no layers between you and what ships.\n\nWhat We Offer\nBuild at the Frontier: Work every day at the frontier of agent-native systems - shipping, inventing, and iterating on technology that hasn’t been built before. You’ll be given huge autonomy, the opportunity to gain mastery, and the chance to work in a team that holds each other accountable to succeed.\n\nTruly Agent-Native Culture: At Keycard, we don’t just enable others to adopt agents - we use them ourselves to build. You’ll help shape an organization that embeds AI into its foundation as an enduring competitive advantage.\n\nCompensation With Upside: Market-competitive salaries and generous equity packages (4-year vest, 1-year cliff) give you the security to focus on building - and the asymmetric upside of ownership in a company chasing a category-defining mission.\n\nComprehensive Benefits & Recharge: Health, dental, vision, and paramedical coverage for you and your family, plus 4 weeks vacation, 11 statutory holidays, and 1 volunteer day annually. We encourage at least 2 weeks off each year to fully recharge.\n\nTools That Keep You Ahead: A new MacBook Pro, a $500 stipend for peripherals, and the best AI tools available so you can work at the forefront of agent-native workflows.\n\nRemote-First Flexibility: We are a remote-first team prioritizing asynchronous collaboration, with hiring focused in North and South America. Work where you’re strongest - we just want the best.","description_format":"text","description_chars":5937,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":null,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":["Apple Macbook","Equity"],"hiring_locations":[{"name":"United States","iso":"US","kind":"country"},{"name":"Canada","iso":"CA","kind":"country"}],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Artificial Intelligence","Identity Management","Information Security","AI Agents"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-02T09:16:53Z"}],"visa":[],"liveness":{"score":27,"band":"fade","label":"Fading","p_open":1,"p_active":0.493,"p_room":0.55,"age_days":49,"expected_fill_days":36,"reasons":["conf:1","win:tail"],"computed_at":"2026-10-20T05:45:00Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/keycard-product-manager-growth-developer-experience","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/keycard-product-manager-growth-developer-experience.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-20T18:24:53Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","about":"Alion is a live layer of people, companies and AI agents: who they are, whether they are real and active right now, what they do and how to work with them, readable by people and by agents and paid per call.","catalog":"https://alion.io/catalog.json","usage":{"tier":"crawler_verified","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":21179,"day_limit":null,"remaining_today":null,"minute_limit":300,"resets_at":"2026-10-21T00:00:00Z"}},"offers":[{"id":"company.slices","title":"One company in depth, by slice","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002,"plus_per_slice":{"credits":0.05,"usd":0.005}},"unit":"per company, plus each slice with data","note":"the employer in depth","call":{"mcp_tool":"get_company","arguments":{"id":41879},"rest":"https://alion.io/mcp/rest/get_company?id=41879"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.slices&for=job%2Fkeycard-product-manager-growth-developer-experience"},{"id":"market.stats","title":"A market slice: pay, demand and time to fill","status":"live","price":{"credits":1,"usd":0.1},"unit":"per slice","note":"pay, demand and time to fill for this role and place","call":{"mcp_tool":"market_stats"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=market.stats&for=job%2Fkeycard-product-manager-growth-developer-experience"},{"id":"job.search","title":"Open jobs by role, technology, place, pay and visa","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002},"unit":"per posting in a list","note":"similar open postings","call":{"mcp_tool":"search_jobs"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=job.search&for=job%2Fkeycard-product-manager-growth-developer-experience"},{"id":"company.verify","title":"Is this company real and active right now","status":"pilot","price":null,"unit":"per company","request":{"url":"https://alion.io/catalog/request","method":"POST","body":"{\"offer\": \"company.verify\", \"for\": \"job/keycard-product-manager-growth-developer-experience\", \"note\": \"what you need it for\"}"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.verify&for=job%2Fkeycard-product-manager-growth-developer-experience"}]}
