This role is focused on designing, developing, and enhancing SCIM-based connectors within enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java (Java 8 and Java 17+), Spring Boot, microservices, Spring Security, SCIM protocol, code review, and debugging. This is a hands-on development role requiring strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and experience building secure and scalable integrations.\nLocation: India, Remote\nEmployment Type: Contract position till December 31, 2026.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nDesign, develop, and enhance net-new SCIM connectors using Java and Spring Boot.\n\nDefine technical specifications and ensure alignment with identity governance best practices.\n\nDevelop and maintain Spring Boot microservices, leveraging Spring Security to build secure and scalable integrations.\n\nSupport the migration of applications and connectors from Java 8 to Java 17+, ensuring compatibility and addressing migration-related issues.\n\nConduct peer code reviews for newly built connectors to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to coding standards.\n\nReview existing codebases, understand code logic, and identify opportunities to improve performance, security, and efficiency.\n\nCollaborate closely with QA teams to identify and resolve pre-release defects and integration issues.\n\nAudit and review existing SCIM connector codebases to identify vulnerabilities, inefficiencies, and compliance gaps using tools such as SonarQube and Checkmarx.\n\nDebug, troubleshoot, and remediate issues across connector implementations and integrations.\n\nWrite and execute unit tests using JUnit and support build and dependency management using Maven or Gradle.\n\nExecute testing and deploy code fixes, enhancements, and remediations.\n\nDocument all modifications, enhancements, and fixes while maintaining accurate connector documentation and release notes.\n\nTrack development activities and collaborate with cross-functional teams using Jira, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.\n\nParticipate in technical discussions and contribute to continuous improvement of development standards and best practices.\n\nWho We’re Looking For:\n4+ years of hands-on Java development experience, with working knowledge of Java 8 and Java 17+.\n\nStrong working experience in Spring Boot, Spring Boot microservices, and Spring Security.\n\nStrong understanding of and hands-on experience with SCIM protocol and REST APIs.\n\nExperience conducting code reviews, understanding complex code logic, debugging applications, and resolving technical issues.\n\nExperience with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit.\n\nFamiliarity with code quality and security scanning tools such as SonarQube and Checkmarx.\n\nExperience with build and dependency management tools such as Maven and Gradle.\n\nFamiliarity with Jira, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software development practices.\n\nExperience supporting Java version migrations, particularly from Java 8 to Java 17+, is highly desirable.\n\nFamiliarity with IAM and identity governance concepts is highly preferred.\n\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.\n\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.\n\nNice-to-Have Skills:\nExperience with IAM platforms such as SailPoint, Okta, or Microsoft Entra ID.\n\nFamiliarity with OAuth 2.0, SAML, or OpenID Connect.\n\nExposure to Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud-native development environments.\n\nPrevious experience in consulting or customer-facing delivery environments. #LI-AS1\n\nWhy You’ll Love Working Here\nAt KeyData Cyber, we put people first, valuing learning, growth, and work-life balance.
