In this role, you will develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions to automate Okta configurations and deployments across enterprise environments. You will work closely with IAM Architects, Engineers, and Security teams to build reusable Terraform modules, streamline CI/CD pipelines, and ensure secure, consistent, and auditable configuration deployments across Preview and Production environments.\nLocation: United States\nEmployment type: Contract for 5 months ( Part-Time 10-16 hours per week), Remote\nWhat You'll Do\nDevelop and maintain reusable Terraform modules to automate Okta platform configurations.\nAutomate the deployment and management of Okta resources, including groups, applications, authentication policies, enrollment policies, lifecycle management configurations, federation settings, and administrative roles.\nSupport the promotion of Terraform-managed configurations from Okta Preview to Production environments.\nManage Terraform state files, remote backends, and configuration consistency across environments.\nBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate Terraform validation, planning, and deployment processes.\nIntegrate Terraform workflows with Git repositories, branching strategies, and pull request processes.\nSupport release management, production deployment approvals, and rollback and recovery procedures.\nCollaborate with IAM Architects and Engineers to automate Okta Workforce Identity configurations and integrations with Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Workday, and enterprise applications.\nSupport application provisioning, identity lifecycle management, and identity governance initiatives.\nIntegrate identity platforms and applications using REST APIs and protocols such as SAML, OIDC, and SCIM.\nEnsure Terraform configurations and deployment processes adhere to security, audit, and compliance requirements.\nDevelop technical documentation, deployment standards, operational runbooks, and configuration audit reports.\nSupport knowledge transfer, operational readiness, and handover activities.\nWho We're Looking For\n3+ years of hands-on experience in Terraform development.\n2+ years of experience implementing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions.\nExperience developing and maintaining reusable Terraform modules and automating infrastructure configurations.\nHands-on experience with Terraform Cloud or Terraform Enterprise.\nExperience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.\nStrong understanding of version control, branching strategies, pull requests, and infrastructure change management.\nExperience managing Terraform state files, remote backends, and secrets management solutions.\nWorking knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and YAML.\nFamiliarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or GCP.\nExperience with Okta administration, configuration management, and automation.\nUnderstanding of Okta Workforce Identity, application integrations, and identity lifecycle management.\nExperience or familiarity with Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, SAML, OIDC, and SCIM.\nUnderstanding of MFA, passwordless authentication, Conditional Access, IAM governance, and security best practices.\nKnowledge of least privilege, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and privileged access management.\nStrong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills.\nAbility to work independently and collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, security teams, and stakeholders.\nAbility to manage deliverables and priorities within a part-time contract engagement.\nNice-to-Have Skills\nOkta Certified Professional, Administrator, or Consultant certification.\nHashiCorp Terraform Associate certification.\nHands-on experience with the Okta Terraform Provider.\nExperience automating Okta configuration deployments across Preview and Production environments.\nExperience supporting enterprise IAM deployments involving 10,000+ users.\nExposure to identity governance, provisioning integrations, and lifecycle automation.\nFamiliarity with Agile project delivery methodologies.\nExperience developing deployment standards, reusable automation frameworks, and operational runbooks. #LI-AS1\nWhy You’ll Love Working Here\nAt KeyData Cyber, we put people first, valuing learning, growth, and work-life balance.
