This exciting and dynamic role will be responsible for supporting the Commercial Rail Team with tank car fleet management and related logistics functions, including rail car scheduling, tracking, tracing, various ad hoc reporting and administrative initiatives. The individual is required to communicate information effectively to internal and external stakeholders.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nLearn and become familiarized with logistical, railway, and terminal operations.\nFocus on customer service to become a trusted advisor to Keyera’s internal and external stakeholders.\nSupport fleet management operations through the administration of rail assets.\nDevelop railcar scheduling skills to support the transportation of Keyera’s various commodities.\nAnalyze railcar transit data and shipment patterns to predict future tendencies.\nAnalysis and continuous optimization of fleet costs.\nIdentifying operational issues and developing plans to support resolution.\nCritical thinking towards process improvements. \nSharing ideas to present opportunities for continuous departmental and organizational improvement.\nRequesting and submitting shop disposition from the lessors.\nProvide back-up support and coverage for the Rail Team.\nCommunicate effectively with customers.\nTo learn and be proficient in Keyera’s systems, including but not limited to GeoMetrix and Entero ONE.\nAd hoc problem resolution (logistical, contracts, billing, etc.).\nQUALIFICATIONS\nThe successful candidate will be well-organized, energetic, and service oriented with the following qualifications:\nA bachelor’s degree in a related field: Accounting, Economics or Commerce.\n3-5 years of experience in Logistics or NGL Marketing accounting.\nAn ambassador of Keyera’s Culture.\nStrong analytical skills with proven ability to leverage technology.\nExcellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal and organization skills.\nAdvanced computer skills in Excel and Microsoft word.\nSelf-motivated individual with a positive attitude and demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks in a timely and organized manner.\nAbility to process multiple transactions in an accurate and timely manner. \nWorking knowledge of marketing and logistics systems (eg eOne, GeoMetrix) is an asset\nKnowledge of shipping dangerous goods by rail considered an asset.\nExperience in the oil and gas industry and an understanding of the midstream sector is preferred. \nPosting Expiry Date:\nOct 5, 2026At Keyera, we embrace collaboration, inclusion, and a workplace that is as diverse as the communities we serve.
