Here, you can bring your experience and ideas to the table, build strong relationships and continue developing throughout your career.\nWhat you can look forward to:\nCompetitive total rewards that recognize your contribution and support your wellbeing\nBenefits that support you and your family, with options designed to meet different needs\nPaid vacation so you can recharge and enjoy time away from work\nOpportunities to learn, develop and grow your career, with experiences that help you build your skills and capabilities\nA culture built on relationships, collaboration and shared success, where people work together and support one another\nMeaningful work that contributes to our business and the communities where we operate\nThe opportunity to make an impact, bringing your experience, ideas and perspective to the work you do.\nBenefits, programs and other offerings may vary by position, work location and employee group.\nJob Type:\nPermanentTHE POSITION\nKeyera is currently seeking a Journeyman Millwright to support our Fort Saskatchewan Fractionation Facility.\nThe Journeyman Millwright will be responsible for day-to-day mechanical assignments involving field and plant equipment, while maintaining a safe working environment.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nTroubleshoot, adjust, and repair equipment at various locations as necessary.\nMaintain centrifugal and positive displacement pumps, mechanical seals, compressors, valves and valve operators.\nPerform routine preventative and predictive maintenance on rotating equipment in accordance with facility maintenance programs.\nConduct pump alignments based on preventative and scheduled maintenance.\nFit bearings and align gears and shafts.\nAttach motors and connect couplings and belts to precise tolerances.\nPlan and execute lifting and rigging jobs, including critical lifts.\nParticipate in maintenance and project installations as required.\nOversee third-party support crews on overhauls and planned outages.\nKeep detailed and accurate maintenance reports as required in Maximo.\nComply with OH&S Standards, safety training requirements, corporate CSOPs, Site Safe Operating Practice (SSOP), and Operational Excellence requirements.\nWork together with site personnel to support a safe working environment.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nRed Seal Journeyman Millwright Certification from an accredited institution.\n5-7 years’ experience in a journeyman role within the chemical, pipeline or oil & gas industry assets.\nMust be capable of reading blueprints and associated informational documents.\nStrong computer skills with proficiency in the Maximo application, or similar Maintenance Software programs (CMMS).\nCat 1 and MLA/MLT certifications are considered strong assets.\nValid driver’s license and familiar with the operation of a Service truck and lifting crane.\nMust be available to work overtime and callouts as required.\nValid H2S Alive, WHMIS, TDG, First Aid Certificates an asset.\nExperience working in a unionized environment would be considered an asset.\nStrong interpersonal skills and troubleshooting capabilities.\nDemonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nPosting Expiry Date:\nNov 1, 2026At Keyera, we embrace collaboration, inclusion, and a workplace that is as diverse as the communities we serve.
