This role is responsible for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of an LPG Storage, transfer, loading, unloading and inventory management facility. This includes the operation of underground LPG storage caverns, railcar loading and unloading activities, truck loading facilities, brine handling systems, and associated pipeline infrastructure.\nWhether you are an experienced operator or looking to further develop your career in plant operations, this position offers the opportunity to build your skills while working alongside an experienced operations team in a dynamic environment.\nThis position follows a 12-hour rotating 5-on/5-off schedule, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, overtime, and participation in an on-call rotation.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nSafely operate LPG storage, transfer, injection, withdrawal, loading, and unloading systems.\nMonitor plant performance through routine facility inspections, operating rounds, and quality control testing to ensure products meet specification prior to receipt and shipment while identifying and communicating operating concerns.\nPrepare equipment for maintenance and safely return equipment to service using approved Lockout/Tagout, Safe Work Permit, Hot Work Permit, Confined Space Entry, Personal Protective Equipment, and environmental procedures.\nPerform routine preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration activities on pumps, valves, meters, gauges, transmitters, flow computers, and other process equipment.\nComplete monthly meter calibrations and support maintenance activities related to facility measurement and operating equipment.\nMaintain accurate operational, maintenance, environmental, and regulatory documentation, including operating records, plant logs, meter calibrations, permits, environmental reporting, flaring reports, and other required compliance documentation.\nParticipate in Process Safety Management activities in accordance with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.119, including HAZOP reviews, internal audits, compliance initiatives, and continuous improvement activities.\nSupport plant turnarounds, maintenance activities, project planning, work scope development, operating procedures, and site-specific work plans.\nCoordinate truck driver orientations, contractor onboarding, and site safety training in alignment with company policies, procedures, and safe work practices.\nParticipate in the facility on-call rotation and provide overtime support as operational requirements dictate.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nMust reside within 30 miles of the St. Clair, Michigan facility.\nAbility to work a 12-hour rotating 5-on/5-off schedule, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, overtime, and on-call requirements.\nAbility to work outdoors in all weather conditions.\nExperience in gas processing, propane fractionation, NGL facilities, terminal operations, pipeline operations, or a related industrial environment would be considered an asset.\nExperience with P&IDs, piping schematics, process drawings, or other technical documentation would be considered an asset.\nTroubleshooting, maintenance, equipment calibration, or measurement experience would be considered an asset.\nPosting Expiry Date:\nOct 12, 2026At Keyera, we embrace collaboration, inclusion, and a workplace that is as diverse as the communities we serve.
