The role ensures that IT services effectively support business operations while meeting performance, security, compliance, and cost-efficiency requirements.\nActing as the primary local IT reference, the IT Infrastructure Administrator provides technical leadership, supports end-users, manages IT projects, contributes to strategic planning, and serves as the liaison between our client and Group IT organisations.\nWhat is expected from you:\nIT Infrastructure Governance & Strategy\n\nAssess business and end-user needs, as well as quality, operational, and security requirements.\n\nTranslate business requirements into IT solutions and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).\n\nDesign, maintain, and continuously improve the local IT infrastructure architecture in alignment with business objectives and Group standards.\n\nAdvise management on IT strategy, technology evolution, infrastructure investments, and risk mitigation.\n\nMonitor emerging technologies and recommend improvements to systems, services, and operational efficiency.\n\nEnsure compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, licensing, and corporate requirements.\n\n2. User Support & Service Delivery\nProvide technical support to end-users through telephone, e-mail, remote assistance, and face-to-face interventions.\n\nDiagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.\n\nAssist end-users in the effective use of IT equipment, systems, and applications.\n\nDeliver user guidance and training when required.\n\nCoordinate with external providers and Group IT teams to ensure timely resolution of incidents and service requests.\n\nCoordinate with external providers and Group IT teams to ensure timely resolution of incidents and service requests.\n\nDocument support procedures and maintain an up-to-date knowledge base.\n\n3. Infrastructure Operations & Maintenance\nDesign, implement, operate, and maintain local IT infrastructure including servers, networks, endpoints, and associated services.\n\nEnsure the availability, reliability, and performance of IT systems and infrastructure.\n\nManage backup, recovery, monitoring, and business continuity mechanisms.\n\nPerform infrastructure updates, upgrades, patch management, and corrective maintenance activities.\n\nMaintain accurate technical documentation, inventory records, system configurations, and operational procedures.\n\nEnsure the smooth operation of all IT services, including network services, endpoint management, printing services, e-mail systems, and security tools.\n\n4. Cybersecurity & Compliance\nSupport the development, implementation, maintenance, and monitoring of the cybersecurity policies, procedures, and controls in accordance with legal, regulatory, customer, and Group requirements.\n\nContinuously assess and improve the security posture of systems, applications, and infrastructure (*).\n\nEnsure the effective operation of security solutions, including endpoint protection, access control, monitoring, backup, and recovery systems (*).\n\nContribute to security audits, compliance assessments, and corrective action plans.\n\nParticipate in the management of cybersecurity incidents and crisis situations involving complex infrastructure or software issues.\n\n(*) BE relies on the Mother Company for a large part of the IT hardware and software assets. Budget, Procurement & Supplier Management\nSupport, manage, and monitor the company's IT budget.\n\nSupport budget planning and cost optimisation initiatives.\n\nCoordinate supplier engagements and negotiations in collaboration with Supply Chain Management (SCM).\n\nManage IT-related procurement activities, including purchase requests, purchase orders, contracts, licenses, equipment, and services.\n\nEnsure cost-effective acquisition and lifecycle management of IT assets.\n\n6. Group Integration & Collaboration\nAct as the primary interface with Group IT organisations, coordinating with the BU Director on important decisions.\n\nImplement Group IT policies, standards, recommendations, and directives locally.\n\nCollaborate with Group IT teams on infrastructure integration, transformation, and harmonisation initiatives.\n\nEnsure local compliance with Group governance, cybersecurity, and operational\n\nAdditional Responsibilities\nParticipate in the company's on-call duty rota when required.\n\nManage complex technical incidents and crisis situations affecting IT services.\n\nPerform additional duties consistent with the experience, expertise, and competencies required by the position.\n\nMay be designated to act as Deputy Security Officer (DSO) in the absence of the Security Officer.\n\nWhat you offer:\nA bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.\n\nA minimum of five years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or a comparable role.\n\nStrong hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Windows environments, Microsoft 365, Active Directory or Entra ID, networking, endpoint management, backup and recovery, virtualization, and infrastructure monitoring.\n\nPractical knowledge of cybersecurity controls, vulnerability and patch management, access control, endpoint protection, incident response, and secure infrastructure configuration.\n\nExperience providing remote and on-site end-user support and managing incidents, service requests, technical documentation, and SLAs.\n\nExperience managing IT suppliers, licenses, assets, procurement activities, and budget-related processes.\n\nProven ability to operate independently as a local IT point of contact while collaborating effectively with centralised Group IT functions.\n\nExperience with ISO 27001 implementation is a strong plus.\n\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, stakeholder-management, and organisational skills.\n\nProfessional fluency in English;
