This role requires deep expertisein cryptographic security, machine identity management, and SaaS/on-prem hybrid solutions. The Principal Product Manager will drive Command Certificate Lifecycle Management’sevolution as the central certificate lifecycle managementplatform, ensuring it delivers innovative, scalable, and compliant solutions that address the needs of enterprise customers and strategic partners. \nApplicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.\nJob Responsibilities\n Product Vision & Strategy: Establish and communicate a compelling vision for Command Certificate Lifecycle Management, aligning with company strategic objectives and the evolving landscape of certificate lifecycle management, machine identity governance, and compliance (e.g., FedRAMP, PQC readiness). \nRoadmap Ownership: Develop and maintain Command Certificate Lifecycle Management’s product roadmap, prioritizing initiatives such as certificate discovery, lifecycle automation, policy enforcement, deployment flexibility, advanced analytics, and integrations across the Keyfactor platform. \nLifecycle Management: Oversee the Command Certificate Lifecycle Management product lifecycle from ideation through launch and continuous improvement, ensuring timely, high-quality releases for both SaaS and on-prem deployments. Lead the transition from POC to production, addressing friction points and supporting enablement motions. \n Market & Customer Insights: Conduct deep market research and engage with customers, partners, and industry stakeholders to identify emerging trends (e.g., PQC, SAST, CI/CD integration), competitive dynamics, and evolving customer needs. \nCross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with engineering, design, documentation, support, and go-to-market teams to deliver cohesive, customer-centric solutions. Champion the use of dedicated Confluence spaces and Zendesk for Command Certificate Lifecycle Management documentation and support resources. \nRequirements & Execution: Translate strategic goals into detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Guide development teams to deliver features such as cryptographic asset discovery, policy enforcement, and advanced analytics. \nPerformance & Optimization: Monitor Command Certificate Lifecycle Management’s performance using data analytics and customer feedback. Drive iterative improvements, focusing on security, scalability, and user experience. \nStakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for Command Certificate Lifecycle Management, providing regular updates to executive leadership, field teams, and strategic customers. \nMentorship & Team Development: Mentor product managers and cross-functional contributors, fostering a culture of innovation, technical excellence, and continuous learning. \nRequired Qualifications and Skills:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. \nProven experience in product management for security, SaaS, or enterprise software. \nDeep understanding of cryptographic technologies, machine identity management, and agile methodologies. \nExceptional communication and leadership skills, with a track record of cross-functional collaboration. \nProficiency with product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) and data analytics platforms. \nPreferred Qualifications and Skills:\nMaster’s degree (MS, MBA, or related). \nCertified Product Manager (CPM) or equivalent. \nExperience with FedRAMP, PQC, SAST, or CI/CD pipeline integrations. \nFamiliarity with UX/UI best practices and technical documentation strategies. \nDemonstrated ability to drive SaaS and on-prem product launches and migrations. \nTravel Requirements.\nUp to 10% travel time required. \nCompensation\nSalary will be commensurate with experience. \nCulture, Career Opportunities and Benefits \nWe build teams that continually strive to get better than the day before.
