Working alongside experienced developers, you will help build and maintain the ELT pipelines, Bronze/Silver/Gold data layers, data models and Power BI reports that power analytics and reporting across Keyloop. You will deliver well-defined tasks and stories with guidance, learn Snowflake, Power BI and modern data engineering practices hands-on, and build a strong foundation to progress to an IC2 role. Experience or interest in Snowflake, Power BI, or both is welcome; we will help you build skills in whichever is new to you.\nKey Responsibilities\nDeliver well-defined tasks and user stories on the Snowflake platform with guidance and code review from senior developers\n\nWrite and maintain SQL & Python for data transformation, cleansing and reporting use cases\n\nCreate and update Snowflake database objects such as tables, views and simple stored procedures, following team standards\n\nSupport the build and maintenance of ELT pipelines\n\nLearn and apply Keyloop's Bronze / Silver / Gold data layer standards\n\nWrite unit tests and basic data quality checks for your changes\n\nHelp investigate data issues and pipeline failures, escalating appropriately and learning from root-cause analysis\n\nBuild and update Power BI reports and dashboards on Snowflake Gold-layer data, with guidance\n\nSupport data reconciliation between source systems, Snowflake and Power BI reports\n\nParticipate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, refinement, sprint reviews) and keep Jira tickets up to date\n\nContribute to technical documentation: data dictionaries, pipeline runbooks and how-to guides\n\nTake part in code reviews to learn team conventions and share feedback with peers\n\nWork through a structured learning plan, including working towards SnowPro Core and/or Microsoft PL-300 (Power BI Data Analyst) certification\n\nRequired Skills & Experience\n0-2 years of experience in a data, analytics, or software development role, or a relevant degree, apprenticeship or bootcamp\n\nGood working knowledge of SQL: SELECT, JOINs, GROUP BY, filtering and basic aggregations\n\nUnderstanding of relational database concepts (tables, keys, relationships, normalisation)\n\nInterest in data engineering, cloud data platforms and BI, with a willingness to learn whichever of Snowflake or Power BI is new to you\n\nAnalytical, problem-solving mindset and attention to detail when working with data\n\nBasic familiarity with version control (Git), or willingness to learn\n\nClear written and verbal communication, and comfort asking questions and seeking feedback\n\nAbility to manage your own tasks and meet agreed deadlines with support\n\nMindset & Behaviours\nA genuine curiosity and drive to keep learning, both through structured training and by figuring things out yourself\n\nEnjoys a challenge: you're motivated by solving problems you haven't seen before rather than put off by them\n\nAccountable for your work: you take ownership of your
