You will play a key role in maintaining the stability, security, and performance of our enterprise IT environment while supporting business-critical systems.\nKey Responsibilities:\nProvide Level 2 operational support for Windows Server environments and resolve incidents within agreed service levels.\nInstall, configure, administer, and troubleshoot Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022 operating systems.\nPerform incident, problem, and change management activities, including root cause analysis and implementation of permanent fixes.\nMonitor server health, availability, CPU, memory, disk utilization, services, and event logs, and take corrective action when required.\nPlan and execute operating system patching, security updates, reboot coordination, post-patch validation, and remediation of failures.\nManage file-level backup and restore requests, monitor backup jobs, troubleshoot failures, and support recovery validation.\nAdminister and troubleshoot VMware ESXi hosts, vCenter, virtual machines, snapshots, VMware Tools, resource allocation, and migration issues.\nPerform Windows Failover Cluster health checks and troubleshoot cluster nodes, roles, resources, networks, and storage dependencies.\nTroubleshoot OS, application service, RDP, network connectivity, firewall, disk, performance, and access-related issues.\nDevelop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate routine administration, monitoring, health checks, reporting, and remediation tasks.\nMaintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge articles.\nCoordinate with application, network, database, storage, backup, security, and vendor teams to restore services and complete planned changes.\nEssential Skills and Qualifications:\nStrong hands-on experience with Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022 installation, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting.\nPractical knowledge of Active Directory Domain Services, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, authentication, permissions, and account administration.\nExperience with incident, problem, and change management processes in an ITIL-based support environment.\nHands-on experience with patch management, vulnerability remediation, maintenance activities, and post-change validation.\nExperience monitoring backups, troubleshooting failed jobs, and performing file and system restores.\nWorking knowledge of VMware ESXi and vCenter administration and virtualization troubleshooting.\nExperience supporting Windows Failover Clustering and high-availability environments.\nGood understanding of TCP/IP, ports, name resolution, and Windows network troubleshooting.\nKnowledge of storage concepts, including SAN, NAS, LUNs, volumes, disk provisioning, multipathing, and RAID levels.\nProficiency in PowerShell scripting for Windows administration and operational automation.\nAbility to analyze Windows Event Logs, performance data, service failures, and system alerts to identify root causes.\nStrong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills.\nAbility to work in rotational shifts, participate in on-call support, and collaborate with teams across locations and time zones.\nEssential Technology Stack\nWindows Server 2016, Windows Server 2019, and Windows Server 2022\nPowerShell, Command Prompt, WMI/CIM, Event
