We're best known for our Airbnb key-holding service: a network of local shops and smart lockers where hosts and property managers store keys so guests, cleaners and contractors can collect them 24/7. We operate across +15 countries and have checked in over 2,000,000 guests.\nThe role\nBased full-time in our London office (SW8 5EL) and reporting to the Operations Manager UK, you're the hands-on engine of our UK operations. This role has two equally important sides and we need you strong on both from day one: keeping our physical locker network running and growing, and support our daily operations. No two days look the same!\nTasks\nOn the ground, technical & field work\nAssemble and set up lockers in the office and diagnose hardware faults (locks, screens, connectivity, power)\nInstall, service and repair KeyNest lockers on-site, travelling across London by public transport (expensed) to wherever a locker needs fixing, often at short notice\nHandle, lift and transport locker units and stock: this is a physically demanding role (units weigh ~35kg, moved as a two-person lift; ~24kg handled solo during installs)\nOwn supplies and logistics end to end: track inventory, coordinate and make sure daily shipments go out on time\nGrowing the network, partner-facing & supplies\nScout and sign up new shops as KeyNest Points, in person across London\nBe the first point of contact for partner stores: handle routine conversations and negotiations, resolve day-to-day friction, and escalate complex deals to the Operations Manager UK\nSupport national partner accounts, respond to requests and send tracking files\nGive day-to-day technical support to our remote support team on issues they escalate to you\nManage day-to-day supplies to all our network of stores, with or without a locker.\nRequirements\nWho we're looking for\nYou need to be good with your hands and good with people, this role won't suit someone who's only one or the other.\nPractical and technically confident: comfortable with tools, assembling and repairing hardware, and physical work including regular lifting (~24-35kg)\nOutgoing and persuasive: at ease walking into a shop, building rapport with owners and closing a partnership\nHighly organised and reliable: able to run field work, logistics and partner admin without dropping any of them\nCalm and adaptable when the day changes at short notice\nNative-level English essential; a second language is a plus\nComfortable travelling across London daily on public transport; a driving licence is a plus\nRight to work in the UK\nThis is a Full-time, permanent, Monday-Friday 9:00-18:00 (1h break)\nBenefits\nWhat we offer\nOffice- and field-based in central London (SW8 5EL), this is not a remote role\nA varied, high-impact role working closely with the Operations Manager UK, Global Head of Operations, the Country Manager UK and the founders\nDaily collaboration with an international team","description_format":"text","description_chars":3019,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":null,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":{"level":"bachelor","optional":true},"security_clearance":false,"languages":[{"language":"English","level":"All levels","optional":false}]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[{"name":"United Kingdom","iso":"GB","kind":"country"}],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Vacation Rentals","Real Estate Brokerage"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-10-26T12:11:03Z"},{"event":"close","at":"2026-10-27T15:19:06Z"}],"visa":[{"country":"GB","licensed_sponsor":true,"evidence":"Licensed UK visa sponsor (Skilled Worker)","filings_12m":null,"filings_prev_12m":null,"green_card_filings_12m":null,"median_offered_wage_usd":null,"route":"Skilled Worker","cap_exempt":false,"checked_at":"2026-10-28T06:26:45+00:00","sources":["UK Home Office: register of licensed sponsors (workers)"],"filings_for_role_12m":0}],"liveness":null,"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/keynest-junior-ops-associate-uk-3","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/keynest-junior-ops-associate-uk-3.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-28T20:54:53Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","about":"Alion is a live layer of people, companies and AI agents: who they are, whether they are real and active right now, what they do and how to work with them, readable by people and by agents and paid per call.","catalog":"https://alion.io/catalog.json","usage":{"tier":"crawler_verified","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":28956,"day_limit":null,"remaining_today":null,"minute_limit":300,"resets_at":"2026-10-29T00:00:00Z"}},"offers":[{"id":"company.slices","title":"One company in depth, by slice","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002,"plus_per_slice":{"credits":0.05,"usd":0.005}},"unit":"per company, plus each slice with data","note":"the employer in depth","call":{"mcp_tool":"get_company","arguments":{"id":680436},"rest":"https://alion.io/mcp/rest/get_company?id=680436"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.slices&for=job%2Fkeynest-junior-ops-associate-uk-3"},{"id":"market.stats","title":"A market slice: pay, demand and time to fill","status":"live","price":{"credits":1,"usd":0.1},"unit":"per slice","note":"pay, demand and time to fill for this role and place","call":{"mcp_tool":"market_stats"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=market.stats&for=job%2Fkeynest-junior-ops-associate-uk-3"},{"id":"job.search","title":"Open jobs by role, technology, place, pay and visa","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002},"unit":"per posting in a list","note":"similar open postings","call":{"mcp_tool":"search_jobs"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=job.search&for=job%2Fkeynest-junior-ops-associate-uk-3"},{"id":"company.verify","title":"Is this company real and active right now","status":"pilot","price":null,"unit":"per company","request":{"url":"https://alion.io/catalog/request","method":"POST","body":"{\"offer\": \"company.verify\", \"for\": \"job/keynest-junior-ops-associate-uk-3\", \"note\": \"what you need it for\"}"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.verify&for=job%2Fkeynest-junior-ops-associate-uk-3"}],"agent":{"mcp":"https://alion.io/mcp/jobs","mcp_open":"https://alion.io/mcp/open","next":[{"tool":"get_job","arguments":{"id":3272119}},{"tool":"search_jobs","arguments":{"company":"keynest.com","detail":"compact"}},{"tool":"match_people","arguments":{"job_id":3272119},"note":"people open to offers who fit this vacancy"}],"note":"The same data through MCP tools: https://alion.io/mcp/open needs no sign-in (compact searches, postings, people);
