Industrial discipline connects the two.\nRole details\nLocation: United States (Remote)\nContract: Permanent, full-time\nWhat you'll architect\nAs an AI Foundation Architect, you'll design the technical foundations that enable organizations to develop, deploy, and scale AI and agentic solutions in enterprise environments.\nYou'll connect cloud infrastructure, data platforms, enterprise applications, models, agents, and security capabilities to create reliable architectures that support business needs.\nYour focus goes beyond solution design. You'll define architecture principles, make key technical decisions, and guide engineering teams in building secure, scalable, and cost-effective AI systems.\nYour responsibilities\nLead architecture discovery with clients to understand business objectives, existing systems, technical constraints, and AI requirements.\nDefine target architectures for production AI and GenAI solutions, integrating models, agents, cloud services, enterprise data, applications, and APIs.\nOwn key architecture decisions within the assigned scope, establishing reference patterns, technical boundaries, and design standards.\nDesign secure and reliable foundations addressing identity, access, scalability, resilience, observability, and operational requirements.\nEvaluate architecture trade-offs, including model selection, performance, latency, infrastructure costs, and AI consumption patterns.\nGuide AI Engineers, Data Engineers, Software Engineers, and cloud specialists to ensure consistency across technical implementations.\nAdvise client stakeholders, review technical designs, and document reusable architecture patterns and decisions.\nConvert successful architecture decisions into reusable Keyrus assets, including reference architectures, decision records, standards, patterns, and design guidance that can strengthen future engagements.\nWho you are\nYou are an experienced technical architect with a strong consulting mindset who combines strategic architecture judgment with recent practical understanding of production AI systems. You understand how cloud, data, applications, and AI technologies work together, and translate business requirements into practical architecture decisions. You are comfortable evaluating technical trade-offs, guiding engineering teams, and advising clients while respecting specialist ownership. You combine strong technical judgment with excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.\nWhat you bring\nExperience\n8+ years of experience designing and owning complex enterprise, solution, cloud, or data architectures in production environments.\nRecent experience architecting production GenAI, LLM, or agentic systems, including integration with enterprise applications and operational infrastructure.\nExperience defining reference architectures, technical standards, integration patterns, and architecture decisions.\nExperience designing distributed systems and enterprise integrations across multiple technical environments.\nAbility to evaluate architecture trade-offs involving security, reliability, scalability, performance, maintainability, and cost.\nStrong client-facing consulting experience, including guiding multidisciplinary engineering teams and advising client architects, technical leaders, and business stakeholders.\nTechnical skills\nDeep architecture expertise in at least one major cloud ecosystem, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, including relevant AI services.\nExperience designing model access and deployment patterns across managed AI services, APIs, open-source models, or comparable enterprise AI environments.\nStrong understanding of GenAI architectures, including LLMs, RAG, AI agents, model integration, and enterprise AI workflows.\nExperience with distributed systems, APIs, microservices, and enterprise integration patterns.\nKnowledge of enterprise data architectures, including lakehouse, streaming, data mesh, or feature stores.\nUnderstanding of security architecture, IAM, networking, resilience, observability, and production operations.\nFamiliarity with MLOps, LLMOps, CI/CD, containers, infrastructure as code, and AI cost optimization.\nNice to have\nExperience with Amazon Bedrock, Azure AI, Vertex AI, or comparable cloud AI services.\nExperience designing multi-agent systems, model routing, or AI orchestration architectures.\nFamiliarity with LangGraph, MCP, AI gateways, or similar technologies.\nExperience with Terraform, Kubernetes, or enterprise infrastructure automation.\nExperience with regulated environments, AI governance, or formal architecture review processes.\nConsulting or professional services experience across multiple clients.\nWhat makes you successful\nYou turn complex requirements into clear architecture solutions.\nYou design secure, scalable, and cost-effective AI foundations.\nYou guide technical teams and communicate effectively with clients.\nYou make practical architecture decisions that support business value.\nWHAT WE OFFER (KUS)\nA stimulating environment where you will be able to surpass yourself and discover new horizons.\n\nA strong culture of innovation and entrepreneurship.\n\nHealth insurance for you and your family members.\n\n401K plan.\n\nMonthly Wellness Allowance.\n\n4 weeks of paid vacation;\n\nLanguage courses (French & English)\n\nAccess to continuing education (in-house, conferences, events, courses, certifications, etc.)\n\nThe expected base compensation for this position ranges from $145,000 to $180,000 USD, depending on experience, skills, location, and internal equity.
