This role combines customer-facing technical consulting, system architecture, programming, project management, and solution implementation responsibilities to help customers improve product quality, increase manufacturing efficiency, and accelerate time-to-market through Keysight's test and measurement solutions.\nResponsibilities\nCustomer Engagement & Technical Consulting\nEngage directly with customer engineering, manufacturing, quality, and operations teams to understand technical requirements and business objectives.\nConduct technical discovery sessions to identify customer challenges, application requirements, and success criteria.\nDeliver product presentations, solution demonstrations, and technical workshops.\nBuild trusted relationships with customer stakeholders and serve as a technical advisor throughout the project lifecycle.\nSupport customer evaluations, proof-of-concept activities, and solution acceptance processes.\nSolution Architecture & System Design\nAnalyze customer requirements and develop system-level Functional Test solution architectures.\nDefine hardware, software, instrumentation, switching, data acquisition, and automation requirements.\nCreate technical proposals, system diagrams, implementation plans, and architecture documentation.\nDesign scalable test solutions that address customer requirements for quality, throughput, reliability, traceability, and cost.\nCollaborate with Keysight product divisions and third-party partners to develop complete customer solutions.\nProject Management & Delivery\nLead project execution activities from solution definition through deployment and customer acceptance.\nDevelop project plans, schedules, milestones, and risk mitigation strategies.\nCoordinate internal resources, partners, and customer stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.\nTrack project status, technical issues, dependencies, and deliverables.\nManage scope, timelines, and customer expectations throughout the implementation process.\nProvide regular project updates to both customer and internal stakeholders.\nSoftware Development & Test Automation\nDevelop, modify, and support test software and automation solutions used within customer environments.\nCreate scripts, test sequences, data acquisition routines, and application workflows required for customer solutions.\nSupport integration of software applications, databases, and manufacturing systems when required.\nTroubleshoot and resolve software, automation, and system integration issues.\nContribute to reusable software modules, templates, and best practices that improve project execution efficiency.\nSales & Opportunity Support\nPartner with account managers to support territory growth objectives.\nParticipate throughout the sales practices.\nQualifications\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Physics, or a related technical discipline.\nTypically 4-5 years of relevant experience in solutions engineering, applications engineering, test engineering, manufacturing engineering, automation engineering, or related technical fields consistent with the Advanced Solutions Engineer level.\nExperience designing and implementing automated test systems or manufacturing test solutions.\nStrong knowledge of system architecture and integration principles.\nExperience managing technical projects involving multiple stakeholders and deliverables.\nExperience developing software, automation scripts, or test applications.\nWorking knowledge of functional test, manufacturing test, or product validation methodologies.\nAbility to independently lead customer technical engagements and project activities.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.\nFluent Spanish and business-level English proficiency.\nAbility to travel approximately 25-40% throughout Mexico and Latin America.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting automotive, medical device, industrial automation, or electronics manufacturing customers.\nExperience with EMS providers, contract manufacturers, or automotive Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers.\nExperience acting as a project manager or technical lead on customer-facing projects.\nKnowledge of automated test equipment (ATE), functional test architectures, and production test methodologies.\nExperience with switching, data acquisition, PXI, power electronics, digital test, RF, wireless, or mixed-signal technologies.\nProgramming experience using Python, C#, LabVIEW, TestStand, MATLAB, or similar environments.\nExperience integrating test systems with MES, ERP, traceability, or manufacturing data
