Working alongside experienced IC test engineers, you will gain hands-on experience with state-of-the-art RF, microwave, and millimeter-wave measurement technologies.\nKey responsibilities include:\nDevelop and execute RF, microwave, millimeter-wave, and DC characterization tests for MMICs, RFICs, and advanced semiconductor devices.\nSupport design validation activities for leading-edge integrated circuits and subsystem technologies developed within Keysight Laboratories.\nDevelop software tools, scripts, and automated test solutions to improve measurement efficiency, test coverage, and data quality.\nAnalyze measurement data and prepare technical reports and presentations summarizing findings and recommendations.\nCollaborate with IC test engineers to define test requirements and verify circuit performance against design specifications.\nTroubleshoot measurement setups, instrumentation, test software, and hardware-related issues.\nContribute to improvements in test methodologies, automation frameworks, and laboratory processes.\nDocument test procedures, calibration methods, and engineering best practices.\nPresent project results and technical conclusions to engineering teams at the completion of the internship.\nQualifications\nRequired Qualifications\nCurrently pursuing a Master's (MS) or Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field.\nAcademic focus in one or more of the following areas:RF and microwave engineering\nMillimeter-wave systems\nAnalog or mixed-signal integrated circuit design\nElectronic test and measurement\n\nHands-on laboratory experience with electrical measurements and instrumentation.\nProgramming experience in Python, MATLAB, C/C++, or similar engineering software environments.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.\nAbility to work effectively in a multidisciplinary R&D environment.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with RF, microwave, or millimeter-wave measurements.\nFamiliarity with test equipment such as Vector Network Analyzers (VNAs), Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, Oscilloscopes, and Source Measure Units (SMUs).\nExperience developing automated test software or data analysis tools.\nKnowledge of semiconductor device physics and MMIC technologies.\nFamiliarity with on-wafer probing, calibration techniques, and semiconductor characterization methods.\nExperience analyzing large measurement datasets using Python, MATLAB, JMP, or similar tools.\nResearch or project experience involving MMICs, RFICs, III-V semiconductor technologies, high-frequency circuits, or advanced electronic measurement systems.\nCA Pay Range- $47.76-$51.43\nBased on experience, education and skills, most offers will be between the minimum and the midpoint of the Salary Range listed above.\nNote: For other locations, pay ranges will vary by region.\nVisa Sponsorship is not available for this position.
