The role will establish scalable security patterns and controls across identity and access management, data protection, application security, integrations, monitoring, compliance, and emerging Salesforce capabilities.\nThe architect will partner with Enterprise Security, Salesforce platform teams, application development teams, business stakeholders, and compliance teams to ensure Salesforce solutions follow enterprise security requirements and the principles of least privilege, defense in depth, secure-by-design, and auditable access.\nResponsibilities\nSecurity Architecture & Governance\nDefine and maintain the Salesforce security architecture, standards, patterns, and guardrails.\nPerform security architecture reviews for new Salesforce solutions, integrations, and major platform changes.\nIdentify security risks and recommend appropriate technical controls and remediation strategies.\nEnsure security architecture aligns with enterprise cybersecurity, privacy, risk, and compliance requirements.\nProvide security guidance to Salesforce administrators, developers, architects, and delivery teams.\nData Security & Privacy\nDefine approaches for protecting confidential and sensitive information stored in Salesforce.\nEstablish data classification and protection standards.\nReview data access patterns and prevent inappropriate exposure of sensitive information.\nProvide security architecture for data movement between Salesforce and downstream/upstream enterprise systems.\nSalesforce Shield & Security Monitoring\nArchitect and govern the use of Salesforce Shield capabilities.\nDefine security monitoring and auditing requirements using Event Monitoring and platform audit capabilities.\nEstablish integration patterns between Salesforce security events and enterprise SIEM/security-monitoring platforms.\nSecure Development & DevSecOps\nPartner with development teams to identify security vulnerabilities during solution design and implementation.\nIncorporate security reviews into Salesforce development and release processes.\nDrive remediation of security findings and technical security debt.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.\n9-15 years of enterprise IT/application experience, with substantial hands-on Salesforce architecture and security experience.\nStrong expertise in Salesforce security architecture and access-control models.\nActive Salesforce certifications preferred -
