Automation Engineer at Keysight Technologies, you will be part of a dynamic development team that delivers test automation solutions for advanced network testing products.\nResponsibilities\nPlan major features by translating Product Management requirements into engineering test documentation\n\nEstimate effort accurately and define testing strategies and plans\n\nExecute testing for major features, ensuring test case execution, progress tracking, and status reporting\n\nDefine system test scenarios and contribute to FS/TP reviews and feature documentation\nProvide input and support in customer support escalations\nConfigure and troubleshoot both KT and non-KT (Keysight Technologies) equipment independently\n\nDebug complex issues and apply advanced troubleshooting techniques\nSuggest and implement enhancements to automation frameworks and processes\n\nDevelop automated test scripts using scripting languages and automation harnesses\n\nCommunicate effectively and collaborate with QA, Development, and cross-functional teams\nParticipate in Agile team meetings and propose process improvements\n\nPerform root cause analysis and create detailed bug reports with clear reproduction steps and logs\n\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electronics, or related field.\n\nMinimum 2 years of experience in software QA or test automation.\n\nStrong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Shell) and experience with automation frameworks.\n\nSolid understanding of software QA practices, SDLC, and source code management tools (e.g., Git).\n\nExperience configuring and debugging KT and non-KT equipment independently.\n\nProven ability to work on moderately complex assignments with minimal supervision.\n\nFamiliarity with networking protocols and systems.\nNice to Have Qualifications:\nExperience with Keysight or Ixia products and technologies.\n\nHands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker).\n\nKnowledge of compilers, debuggers, and development tools.\n\nExperience mentoring or supervising QA engineers.\n\nExposure to Agile development environments.\n\nExposure to AI
