As a dev-Ops engineer, the person would be required to maintain all our Big Data tools and frameworks, maintain servers, and do code deployment by collaborating with development teams.\nAbout the Team:\nWe are part of the Product Development team that is responsible for the growth of the Keysight businesses. The team consists of a Manager, Architect, Data Engg, Data Scientist, and UI/UX. We ensure a feature-rich and highly performant product with well-designed architecture.\nResponsibilities\nThe candidate is responsible for working with peers in deploying the code changes to different environments. Support the IT team in security patches. Work with other teams to ensure planned downtime. Ensure all applications are running as per team expectations. Monitor the system resources and take remedial action.\nAs the Dev-ops engineer, you will do the following:\nWork in an AGILE team with other engineers and team leads on the feature deployment activities to achieve the sprint goals. \nCreate CI/CD script for auto-deployment of new features.\nHelp scale up or scale down the resources based on data load.\nHelping team in moving towards latest technology stack\nMaintaining systems, applications health and security\nWorking with the tools and technologies to robust the complete SDLC process\nWork in a team to turn innovative ideas into robust software and solve complex design and implementation problems. \nQualifications\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a software-related discipline, from an accredited college or university \nMust have at least 3 years of hands-on experience in maintaining Big Data tools and services. \nExperience in CI/CD tools such as Selenium, Jenkins and JIRA.\nExperience with container platforms like OpenShift, Kubernetes or docker\nExperience with configuration management tools like Ansible (preferred), Chef or Puppet.\nExperience with version control tools like Gitlab or bit-bucket.\nExperience in Linux environment, Linux networking and shell scripting.\nExperience with Vulnerability and Security managements will be addons\nProven success working in a team-oriented environment and demonstrated problem-solving skills.\nMust have an ability to identify, formulate, and solve engineering problems.\nDesired Qualifications:\nExperience in bringing up Hadoop clusters and installing various packages.\nExperience in implementation, and deployment of high volume, highly available, cloud-based systems would be a plus.\nA proactive and eager nature for tackling new challenges\nCareers Privacy Statement \n***Keysight is an Equal Opportunity Employer.*** \nThe candidate is responsible for working with peers in deploying the code changes to different environments.
