You will contribute to user interface features and core editing algorithms, gaining hands-on exposure to production-grade Electronic Design Automation (EDA) software.\nResponsibilities\nDevelop and enhance interactive editing tools, graphical canvas components, or schematic/layout manipulation capabilities using C++ and Python.\n\nExtend and maintain the Python API layer to enable seamless automation, custom extension capabilities, and programmatic data access for users.\n\nDesign and implement intuitive UI/UX features, dialogs, and interactive editing modes using Qt to streamline how users interact with complex graphical designs.\n\nDebug application issues, write unit/integration tests, and participate in peer code reviews within an agile software engineering workflow.\n\nQualifications\nRequired\nCurrently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a technical discipline with an expected graduation date after Summer 2027.\n\nProficiency in core data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles.\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills to articulate technical ideas clearly within an engineering team setting.\n\nPreferred\nProficiency in C++ or Python\nPrior hands-on experience with Qt (C++ or PySide/PyQt) or other desktop GUI frameworks.\n\nFamiliarity with C++/Python bindings (e.g., pybind11).\n\nExposure to EDA tools and concepts.\n\nFamiliarity with modern C++ build environments (CMake, Linux/Unix development tools) and Git version control.\n\nThe level of role will be based on applicable experience, education and skills;
