SIS’s core differentiator is high-precision laser interferometry. Our displacement- and position-measuring interferometer systems deliver the sub-nanometer accuracy that lithography and wafer-inspection tools depend on to control stage position. These systems are integrated directly into scanners and metrology platforms from customers, enabling the overlay accuracy and throughput required at the most advanced semiconductor process nodes in the world.\nThe Role\nThe Semiconductor Infrastructure Solutions (SIS) Finance Controller will provide strong analytical and leadership skills to develop and implement financial plans and forecasts, processes, analysis, and insights required to achieve strategic, financial, and operational objectives. This role will serve as a key business partner to the Semiconductor Infrastructure Solutions (SIS) leadership team (including R&D and Marketing leaders), Sales, Revenue Operations, Order Fulfillment, etc. This role will work closely with other members in the Electronic Industrial Solutions Group (EISG) Finance team.\n\nResponsibilities\nFinancial Management:\nFull Profit & Loss responsibility and financial compliance for Semiconductor Infrastructure Solutions (SIS) and Positioning and Metrology R&D organization\nProvide financial leadership, support, analysis, and consulting to all levels of management decision-makers \nShort- and long-term forecasting and planning \nImplement effective OPEX controls to improve business profitability and streamline operations by optimizing resource utilization\nIdentify financial opportunities to improve profitability and achieve strategic goals\nManage Headcount reporting and forecasting in line with the strategic & financial planning objectives\nChampion the adoption of AI-enabled tools and advanced analytics to improve processes, business insight, forecasting accuracy, and organizational productivity.\nFinancial Oversight:\nProvide financial support for R&D focusing on New Product Introductions (NPI), portfolio analysis and projects\nWork closely with R&D Managers/Project Managers in the portfolio planning process \nProvide financial support to marketing functions including Go-To-Market, Business Development and Product Management teams\nRevenue and Gross Margin Analysis:\nConduct revenue, cost of sales, and gross margin analysis in accordance with business objectives.\nEvaluate gross margins by product and identify opportunities to improve results \nCompliance and Reporting:\nEnsure compliance with GAAP and SOX \nComplete monthly and quarterly reporting activities, including participation in external financial reporting \nCoordinating and support Internal audit reviews, as required\nBusiness Insight and Deal Approvals:\nOffer business insights and approve solutions for deals, enterprise agreements (contracts, SOWs). This entails collaborating with Revenue Compliance leads and the Legal/Contracts team to review non-standard terms and conditions.\nManage global margin-based quote approvals to ensure alignment with financial objectives and customer expectations\nMergers, Acquisitions, and Divestitures:\nProvide financial support for the initial phases of mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures\nSupport integration/divestiture activities pre and post deal close\nQualifications\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s or Master’s Degree\nDemonstrated industry experience integrating the resources of several complex departments or functions\nDemonstrated proficiency in leveraging AI tools (e.g. generative AI, data copilots, etc.) to enhance financial analysis, forecasting, and decision support\nBroad knowledge base with proven functional and/or organizational leadership experience.
