As a member of our NPI team, you will collaborate with manufacturing, R&D, marketing, and engineering teams worldwide to contribute to innovative projects in a high-tech environment. Your focus will be on the integration and interconnection of complex 4G/5G and future 6G devices used for wireless network validation. You will apply your programming and measurement knowledge to a variety of hands-on projects.\nYour focus will be on the integration, validation, and manufacturing readiness of complex 4G/5G and future 6G devices used for wireless network test and validation. You will apply your programming, measurement, and data analysis skills, complemented by AI-based automation and intelligent agents, to a wide range of hands-on engineering challenges.\nThe NPI team is multidisciplinary, involving electrical, software, and mechanical engineers, and is responsible for introducing new products into manufacturing and supporting production worldwide throughout the product lifecycle.\nWe are seeking an engineer who thrives in a fast-paced development environment, with the ability to work across digital, analog, and RF domains, and leverage AI agents to improve test efficiency, diagnostics, and production scalability.\nResponsibilities\nIntegrate, validate, and troubleshoot complex Radio Units (RU), User Equipment (UE) emulators, and wireless network test systems used in 4G, 5G, Open RAN, and future 6G environments. \nPerform system-level bring-up, integration, and verification of RF, digital, networking, timing, and synchronization subsystems. \nDebug hardware, firmware, software, and RF performance issues using structured root cause analysis methodologies. \nDevelop automated test solutions for RF validation, manufacturing test, and product qualification activities, Designing and implementing new test algorithms\nCollaborate with R&D design teams to investigate design issues, validate corrective actions, and improve product manufacturability and reliability.\nHelping to design the manufacturing process and develop product tests required to determine instrument performance and specifications.\nMaking modifications to test stations or creating new test stations as needed to support production test needs.\nSupport product integration activities involving Radio Units, O-RAN architectures, CPRI/eCPRI interfaces, Ethernet networking, timing synchronization, and server-based platforms. \nLeverage AI-assisted diagnostics and intelligent agents to improve fault isolation, troubleshooting efficiency, and test automation coverage.\nWorking with team in Malaysia / Penang (Keysight Manufacturing plant) to transfer instrument production when needed.\nCreating documentation for the production tests and test stations.
