You'll own the software layer responsible for rendering high-speed waveform data, live measurements, and instrument controls on embedded Windows hardware.\nWhat You'll Do\nDesign and implement WPF interfaces for real-time waveform display, including live trace rendering, persistence modes, and multi-channel overlays\nImplement instrument-control UI: trigger configuration, timebase/voltage scaling, channel setup, cursors, and automated measurements (rise time, frequency, amplitude, etc.)\nDesign UI behavior for deep memory acquisition, waveform decimation/downsampling for display, and zoom/pan across captured records\nBuild touch- and knob/encoder-friendly interfaces for front-panel hardware controls alongside on-screen UI\nEnsure UI stability and responsiveness during sustained real-time operation (hours/days of continuous capture)\nImplement MVVM architecture that cleanly separates acquisition data models from rendering and control logic\nQualifications\nRequired Qualifications\n5+ years of professional experience building WPF applications for desktop or embedded Windows environments\nStrong proficiency in C# and .NET, with experience in performance-critical, real-time-adjacent UI code\nDeep understanding of MVVM, data binding, dependency properties, and custom control/template development in XAML\nSolid grasp of multithreading and producer/consumer patterns for handling continuous data acquisition feeds without blocking the UI thread\nStrong debugging and profiling skills for latency, frame timing, and memory usage in long-running applications\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with user interface technologies such as QT or Avalonia\nExperience with SciChart graphical software\nFamiliarity with oscilloscope concepts: triggering, sampling theory, FFT/spectral display\nExperience with GPU-accelerated rendering (DirectX, SharpDX, Vortice.Windows, or similar)\nFamiliarity with Windows IoT Enterprise or embedded Windows deployment for instrument-grade hardware\nExposure to industry-standard remote instrument control protocols (SCPI, VISA, LXI)\n\nExperience interfacing with embedded acquisition hardware (FPGA, ADC front-ends, or similar) via shared memory, DMA buffers, or custom drivers\n\nOther Information\nThe level of role will be based on applicable experience, education and skills; Most offers will be between the minimum and the midpoint of the Salary Range listed below.\nColorado Pay Range MIN $110,740.00, Mid. $147,650.00, MAX $184,570.00\nNote: For other locations, pay ranges will vary by region\nThis position is on-site in Colorado Springs, Colorado \nRelocation is available for this position\nVisa Sponsorship is not available for this position\nThis position requires access to technology and/or technical data that is subject to U.S. export controls.
