Our work focuses on inclusion and building communities where everyone has the opportunity to thrive and fully participate in everything society has to offer.\nThe Advanced Program Supervisor oversees all aspects of program operations to ensure financial, personnel, and service goals are met. This role provides direct supervision of medical services, including psychiatric care, medication management, assessments, diagnoses, counseling, and treatment using the full nursing process. As a key member of the interdisciplinary treatment team, the supervisor supports individuals in developing responsibility for their own health while ensuring high-quality, person-centered care.\nKey Responsibilities:\nLead program goal-setting aligned with organizational strategic priorities\nConduct effective team meetings and support program development and problem-solving\nSupervise, coach, train, and evaluate staff\nParticipate in hiring and selection for supervised positions\nManage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage within budget\nMonitor service quality and compliance across all program functions\nProvide backup coverage and after-hours support as needed\nMentor team members and model strong leadership practices\nOversee pre-admission, admission, discharge, and transfer processes related to health needs\nReview and administer medications; ensure accurate documentation and corrective action\nCollaborate with interdisciplinary professionals on diagnoses and treatment plans\nPrepare treatment plans and clinical recommendations\nAssist with personal care and hygiene when needed\nMaintain communication with families, guardians, and management regarding changes or incidents\nOversee medication administration and health/safety compliance\nServe as a liaison with community agencies, schools, and partner programs\nMaintain and review medical and health records for all individuals supported\nCoordinate, schedule, and accompany individuals to medical appointments as needed\nProvide health education and plan health-related activities\nServe as a medical resource for staff and individuals\nJob Details/Benefits:\nFull time, Non exempt position\n$31.50 per hour\nCompetitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401K, and more\nGenerous paid time off program\nExtensive training and learning opportunities\nCareer development and advancement\nQualifications:\nValid state nursing license (LPN or RN)\nHigh school diploma or equivalent plus 2 years of experience in intellectual disabilities (ID) or a related field\nPreferred: Associate’s or bachelor’s degree with experience in ID or a related field\nOne year of supervisory or management experience preferred\nStrong clinical nursing competencies and sound professional judgment\nEffective oral and written communication skills, with the ability to read, interpret, and apply written information\nAbility to learn and use intermediate computer skills, including software applications and web-based systems\nValid driver’s license and access to a privately insured and maintained vehicle depending on work location\nSuccessful completion of all pre-employment requirements, including clearances and verification\nKeystone Human Services prohibits discrimination against qualified individuals based on their status as protected veterans or individuals with disabilities and prohibits discrimination against all individuals based on any category protected by applicable federal, state, or local law.\nDisclaimer: The preceding job description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this job.
