You will own end-to-end features that span mobile clients and the supporting web or service layer, working closely with Product Managers to turn high-level requirements into production-ready solutions.\nMinimum Qualifications\n4+ years of professional experience in Android development and/or backend/frontend engineering \nHands-on experience shipping production Android applications \nSolid understanding of modern Android architecture and tooling \nDemonstrated experience building or contributing to large-scale systems or high-traffic dashboards.\nRequirements\nRequired Technical Skills\nAndroid\nStrong command of Java, MVVM architecture and clean code practices.\nDeep familiarity with Activities, Fragments, and WebViews \nProduction experience with network layers (Retrofit/OkHttp or equivalent), WebSockets, and efficient data handling.\nDeep expertise in FCM Push Notifications and other optimal data fetching mechanisms. \nProficiency with the Gradle build system, dependency management, and multi-module projects \nExperience shipping apps to production (Play Store or enterprise distribution)\nProficiency in using AI tools for accelerated development workflows.\nHybrid app development experience with platforms like ReactNative/Unity/Cocos2dx etc.\nBackend or Frontend (one track required)\nBackend track: Experience designing and operating large-scale systems, API design, data modeling, and cloud deployment (preferably AWS) \nFrontend track: Experience building high-traffic dashboards or web applications using React (or similar), modern JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS, and deployment platforms such as Vercel \nComfort working across the stack when needed (e.g., integrating Android clients with backend services or embedding web content)\nKey Responsibilities\nPartner with Product Managers to gather, clarify, and refine requirements, then break them into well-scoped features and technical tasks \nDesign, implement, and maintain Android features while ensuring clean architecture, testability, and performance \nContribute to backend services or frontend dashboards that support the mobile product (depending on your primary secondary skill) \nOwn existing features end-to-end: monitoring, debugging, optimization, and iterative improvements \nWrite high-quality, maintainable code with appropriate unit, integration, and UI tests \nParticipate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical design documents \nCollaborate with designers, QA, and other engineers to deliver polished, reliable experiences \nIdentify technical debt and propose pragmatic improvements that balance velocity and long-term health \nMentor more junior engineers through code reviews, pairing, and knowledge sharing \nContribute to team processes around CI/CD, release management, and observability \nNice-to-Have\nExperience with Kotlin Multiplatform, Jetpack Compose, or modern Android UI frameworks \nFamiliarity with real-time systems (WebSockets, push notifications, background work) \nExposure to infrastructure-as-code, monitoring/observability tools, or performance optimization at scale \nPrior experience in a product-driven, cross-functional team
