In this role, you will manage creative files and assist in producing low-lift social media assets, including simple video clips, and reformatting content for different social media sizes.\nYou will collaborate closely with Art Directors, Project Managers, Video Editors, Motion Designers, and Graphic Designers to support the creative process. Additionally, you will oversee the asset management process from initial intake to final client delivery, ensuring smooth workflow and organization throughout the project.\nWhat are we looking for? Our Assistant Video Editor has a knack for the following skills:\nCommunication:\nQuickly assembles edits and complement notes from creatives and clients, ensuring clear communication of feedback to produce assets that align with client expectations.\nAssists editors with project organization and asset management, ensuring seamless collaboration and workflow across the team to meet deadlines.\nAnalytics:\nAnalyzes social media platform requirements to optimize content formatting and ensure the best presentation of footage for maximum engagement and impact.\nBusiness:\nIngests, formats, and syncs incoming raw footage, managing media of all footage and files, ensuring everything is organized and accessible for editing.\nEdits social content (stitching clips, subtitles) in various sizes for various social platforms (Instagram/Stories, Facebook, YouTube, etc.).\nCreates and distributes clips, GIFs, and looped videos intended for use on social media platforms, ensuring they are optimized for each platform’s specifications.\nCreates thumbnails as necessary, adjusting them to suit platform standards and ensure they are visually engaging.\nCuts clips from long-form footage provided by the client, adapting them for specific social media formats.\nSyncs audio files provided by the client to ensure proper alignment between audio and video content.\nInserts subtitles into cut clips for social assets, enhancing accessibility and engagement for audiences.\nRequirements\nAdvanced English Level is a must (C1+ or higher-proficient)\n 3+years of experience with editing and creating video assets, either independently or in previous employment.\nExperience in both Output and Delivery processes, preparing elements for delivery to either client or team editors.\nProficiency with Mac OS and Adobe Creative Cloud apps, including Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Media Encoder, and After Effects, as well as Final Cut and other 3rd party software when applicable.\nStrong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with creative teams and clients.\nFlexibility to adapt with changing timelines and deliverables to ensure smooth project flow.\nStrong organizational skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of editing workflows to ensure high-quality video production.\nAvailability\nMonday - Friday from 9 am to 6 pm PST\nFlexibility to work outside of regular business hours or on weekends as needed\nBenefits\nWhat do we offer?\nSalary: $ 21,000-25,000 MXN Monthly (based on experience) Gross (before taxes)\nLaw Benefits.\n2 days off.\nAfter 3 months of employment:\nMedical expenses insurance.\nSaving funds.\nGrocery tickets\nOur company culture is casual, fun, and empowering.
