As the senior member of the test team, it is important that you lead by initiative and behave in accordance to the core of Babel’s values.\nAs a Test Lead, you are responsible for your assigned test team. You have an important role in ensuring that the team is effective, motivated and that each tester is provided an environment in which they can be as productive as possible. A tester’s work is likely to be of higher quality if they are happy and content within the workplace.\nIf this sounds like you and your experience, please see details and a link to apply below:\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nProjects delivery in line with our standards and according to schedules and budgets agreed between the Project Manager and Client.\nEnsuring successful regular briefing and daily management of the test team assigned to the project.\nCreating and executing the project test plan in cooperation with the Project Manager and the QA Manager.\nDaily communication with external clients and ensuring that their needs are met and any queries or concerns on their part are answered.\nProviding clients with accurate end-of-day reports and participating in meetings with the client.\nEnsuring that the team is effective, motivated and work in a productivity-friendly environment.\nLeading by example and behaving according to the core Keywords values.\nRegular evaluation of Testers' and Seniors' performance, conducting feedback meetings.\nMonitoring the test team's work.\nManage, lead and motivate test teams.\nPlan, create and execute project QA strategies.\nPlan, create and execute project test plan & cases.\nDelegate test cases to the test team directly, clearly and efficiently.\nProactively solve project issues with the test teams and Project Manager, before they impact the project.\nMake sure both the Project Manager and test teams are aware of project status.\nMonitor test strategy in accordance with project schedule and budget requirements.\nAdminister and enforce the quality and consistency of bugs as required by the Babel process.\nConstant monitoring and management of bug databases to ensure quality and productivity are up to par.\nExpertly vet, assign and monitor bugs in the database.\nSet, monitor and achieve goals through the test team.\nInteract with testers face-to-face daily.\nRequirements\nProficiency in English (both written and spoken).\nRelevant experience in a similar role in the Video Games or related industry.\nUnderstanding of a bug’s life cycle and workflow within a defect tracking database.\nUnderstanding of QA Strategy and QA Plan building.\nExperience with all next-gen and current-gen console hardware and software.\nWorking knowledge of risk management in the context of the QA process.\nWorking knowledge of data-driven systems to facilitate decision-making.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nStrong leadership skills and decision-making abilities.\nAgile, and flexible to change.\nAbility to meet deadlines on fast pace environments.\nSelf-motivated, innovative and analytical with strong attention to detail and accuracy.\nIntermediate skills with MS Excel.\nExperience with MS Office.\nBased in Bengaluru or available for relocation.
