The role oversees the operational, financial and administrative management of assigned Functionality QA projects, ensuring successful delivery, client satisfaction and achievement of project financial objectives.\nThe Project Manager is a key client interface and provides leadership across project teams, coordinating resources, managing risks and quality, monitoring commercial performance and driving continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle.\nKey Responsibilities\nPlan, manage and integrate projects into the wider workflow, proactively communicating requirements, priorities and risks.\nLead project leadership meetings and establish clear project briefs, objectives and delivery plans.\nEnsure projects are successfully launched, executed and completed in line with client expectations.\nAct as a key point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders, managing communication, expectations and escalations.\nBuild and maintain strong client relationships, providing effective solutions and professional challenge where required.\nEstablish, manage and maintain project budgets, forecasts, spend reporting and financial documentation.\nMonitor project profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates and realization, taking corrective action where required.\nEnsure timely and accurate billing and financial reporting.\nCoordinate resource planning and scheduling in partnership with the Resource Planning Team.\nLead teams to achieve client objectives while maintaining high standards of delivery and professionalism.\nCommunicate client feedback and translate requirements into clear, actionable tasks for internal teams.\nProactively identify challenges, risks and opportunities, developing and implementing effective solutions.\nProvide regular performance feedback to FQA Leads and implement appropriate process or performance improvements.\nSupport performance management and disciplinary processes in partnership with HR.\nAct as the primary point of contact for operational queries raised by FQA Leads.\nSupport the professional development of FQA Leads in partnership with the wider FQA PM team.\nEnsure project deliverables meet agreed client requirements and quality standards.\nDevelop, review and maintain QA policies and processes.\nEnsure project documentation is complete, accurate, current and appropriately maintained.\nLead post-project reviews and ensure lessons learned are captured and implemented.\nMaintain oversight of project quality, risk and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.\nPerform other duties reasonably assigned by management.\nRequirements\nTechnical Skills\nRelevant experience in Project Management or a similar role within the video games or related industry.\nStrong understanding of project lifecycles, game development and Functionality QA processes.\nExperience developing QA strategies and test plans, with an understanding of risk management within QA.\nStrong understanding of project financial management, including budgets, forecasting, billing, margins and profitability.\nExperience using data and management information to support decision-making.\nProficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Teams.\nExperience with mobile, PC, console, portable console and VR hardware and software.\nFamiliarity with defect tracking, test case management, Agile and project management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, SharePoint and Confluence.\nFamiliarity with platform-specific testing tools, including Steam, Xbox and PlayStation development environments.\nExperience & Behavioural Skills\nProfessional fluency in English, both written and spoken.\nAbility to manage multiple projects, project types and client accounts concurrently.\nStrong client-facing, communication and negotiation skills.\nStrong leadership, decision-making and delegation skills.\nEffective conflict management and ability to provide constructive feedback.\nResults-driven approach with the ability to lead teams towards successful outcomes.\nFlexible and adaptable, with the ability to respond effectively to changing priorities.\nStrong organisational skills and ability to maintain high standards of accuracy.\nAbility to work effectively and decisively under pressure.\nSelf-motivated, analytical and solutions-focused, with strong attention to detail.\nAbility to interpret management information and use it to identify issues, recommend solutions and drive improvements.\nAbility to build effective relationships across clients, project teams and internal stakeholders.\nBenefits\nNote: Please note that this is an internal job posting.
