Depending on project and business requirements, the engineer may also work on generic frontend or backend services, APIs, integrations, and other software engineering initiatives.\nWe are looking for someone who is comfortable learning new technologies, solving problems independently, and contributing across different areas of the product.\nRequirements\nDesign, develop, and implement solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce configurations.\nEnhance and maintain existing Salesforce applications based on business requirements.\nWork with api-driven integrations and knowledge of various Salesforce APIs.\nWork with Salesforce managed/unmanaged packages, including customization and extensions where applicable.\nAssist customers with installation, setup, and configuration of Salesforce packages.\nDepending on project requirements, contribute to generic frontend or backend development, involving APIs, services, business logic, database interactions, and integrations.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver within timelines.\nTroubleshoot issues and provide quick resolutions specially with managed packages.\nEnsure adherence to best practices, code quality, and Salesforce governor limits.\nSupport deployment activities and ensure smooth releases.\nRequired Skills & Qualifications\n2+ years of professional software development experience.\nHands-on experience with Salesforce Apex development.\nGood understanding of Apex (triggers, classes, asynchronous processing).\nExperience with Lightning Web Components (LWC).\nGood understanding of Salesforce data model, security, and sharing mechanisms.\nExperience in REST/SOAP API integrations.\nWillingness to work on non-Salesforce backend development when required.\nNice to have\nSalesforce Platform Developer certification.\nExperience with Salesforce DX, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.\nExperience working with relational or NoSQL databases.\nExperience developing and consuming APIs.\nExposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.\nBenefits\n Hybrid setup\n Worker's insurance\n Paid Time Offs\n Other employee benefits to be discussed by our Talent Acquisition team in India.\n Helpshift embraces diversity.
