{"id":2062540,"url":"https://alion.io/job/kg-talent-contracts-administrator-projects-lead","title":"Contracts Administrator & Projects Lead","company":{"id":678662,"name":"KG Talent","domain":"kgtalent.com.au","url":"https://alion.io/company/kgtalent","size_band":"51-200","is_staffing_agency":true,"employer_type":"agency","is_intermediary":false,"listed_via":null,"ats_vendor":"Workable","truth_index":null},"role":"Legal","role_family":"Legal","seniority":"lead","employment_type":"full_time","work_mode":"on_site","remote_scope":null,"remote_scope_basis":null,"remote_working_hours":null,"hiring_geo_confidence":"structured","locations":["Glendenning, Australia"],"countries":["AU"],"hiring_countries":[],"hiring_countries_total":0,"salary":null,"salary_estimate":null,"experience_years_min":null,"visa_sponsorship":false,"relocation_package":false,"has_equity":false,"technologies":[],"status":"live","first_seen_at":"2026-10-08T02:34:19Z","employer_posted_date":"2026-10-08","last_verified_at":"2026-10-26T06:58:55Z","board_verified":true,"closed_at":null,"days_open":18,"trust":{"level":"ok","repost_count":null,"flags":[],"days_open":18},"description":"Take ownership of contracts and commercial risk across major construction and infrastructure projects.\nMesh & Bar is looking for an experienced Contracts Administrator and Projects Lead to join our team in Glendenning.\nWorking within the reinforcing steel and construction supply industry, this is an opportunity to take ownership of the contractual and commercial side of project delivery - reviewing contracts, identifying risk, managing variations and claims, and ensuring our commercial position is protected from tender through to final payment.\nYou’ll work closely with our Sales, Estimating, Operations, Finance and project teams, with the support of our Group Legal team for complex or higher-risk matters.\nWhat you'll be doing\nYou’ll manage the contractual requirements of multiple supply and infrastructure projects, including:\nReviewing customer contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders and commercial terms before acceptance.\nIdentifying contractual and commercial risks including liquidated damages, liability, indemnities, retention, security, insurance, payment terms, time bars and set-off.\nPreparing contract risk summaries, departures and proposed amendments.\nNegotiating practical commercial outcomes with customers and escalating complex legal matters to Group Legal when required.\nManaging variations, payment claims, contractual notices and extension of time requests, including relevant Security of Payment requirements.\nLeading the contractual handover of awarded projects and ensuring key obligations are understood across Sales, Estimating, Detailing, Production and Logistics.\nMonitoring scope changes, design revisions, delivery requirements and price movements to ensure variations are captured and documented.\nSupporting project documentation and compliance requirements for Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractors and infrastructure clients.\nAttending project meetings and site visits where required.\nMaintaining accurate contract registers, project correspondence, key dates and commercial records.\nProviding management with visibility of contract risk, variations, claims, project status and cash flow.\nRequirements\nYou’ll ideally bring 3-5+ years’ experience across contracts administration, commercial management or project delivery within construction, infrastructure or a similar environment, including:\n·Strong experience with variations, payment claims and contractual notices;
