Whether you are an experienced operator or looking to take the next step in your career, we would love to hear from you.\nAbout the Roles\nReporting to the Operations Supervisor, you will work within our production operations at our Pakenham site. These are two separate roles, and you will be responsible for either machine operation or overhead crane operation. The positions start as a casual contract with full-time hours, working the 6:00am to 2:00pm & 2pm - 10:06pm shift, with occasional overtime available.\nMachine Operator\nYour responsibilities will include:\nSetting up and operating production machinery to produce mesh and bar products\nMonitoring output and quality, making adjustments as required\nCarrying out routine equipment checks and reporting faults or hazards\nKeeping your work area clean, safe and organised\nOverhead Crane Operator\nYour responsibilities will include:\nSafely operating overhead cranes to lift, move and position mesh and bar products\nLoading and unloading materials in line with site procedures\nCompleting pre-start checks on cranes and lifting equipment\nWorking with the production team to keep materials moving and meet daily targets\nAbout You\nTo be successful in either role, you will bring:\nPrevious experience in a similar machine or crane operating role\nStrong communication and teamwork skills\nA proactive approach to safety and following WHS procedures\nThe ability to manage tasks and work autonomously\nStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skills\nReliability and the ability to work the 6am to 2pm & 2pm -
