Planning Supervisor is responsible for providing projects support covering all aspects of facility management, master planning, building and infrastructure design, project design reviews, design and construction standard development, and construction project management including the management of engineering design, standards, and conduct activities related to short- and long-term infrastructure planning, improvement construction projects and maintenance operations.\n Manage projects in Engineering design, installation, maintenance, operations and construction management.\nLead the development of project scope of work, budget and time line\nEnsure design and construction teams are meeting the stated objectives of the project with respect to budget, scope and time line\nEnsure all code compliance is obtained to support the project\nAssist in setting goals and long term vision with Manager, Facilities Planning and Projects.\nAssist with the selection of design teams, construction contractors and related consultants and suppliers for minor projects\nProvide support for projects, building renovations and new facilities construction, which includes but is not limited to: plan, review, and check specifications, review of calculations and all support documentation, review of construction submittals, RFIs, and Change Orders.\nProvide designs and oversee external contractors to ensure engineering standards are met for projects.\nDevelop and recommend facility reliability improvements through the application of engineering tools.\nMentor and train subordinate Project Coordinators to develop technical skills and proficiency\nDevelop new ideas and opportunities to more effectively manage department resources\nIdentify problem solving opportunities to enhance University project coordination and implementation\nDevelop best practices, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and provides key input to (preventative) maintenance requirements.\nAlign Facilities Projects with goals, standards, surface operational strategies, best practices and ensure execution.\nCarry out site inspection to detect any abnormalities / defects in projects includes preparation of reports on related matters.\nOversee maintenance contracts for systems to ensure that the maintenance work is carried out in accordance to the SLAs and KPIs\nches or other security risks accordingly\nCoordinate with other departments to facilitate the accomplishment of tasks and responsibilities, as and when needed\nDemonstrate a strong commitment and practice to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.\nPerform any other tasks assigned by the Line Manager\nProvide coaching, guidance and mentoring as required to enhance the internal capabilities of the team and ensure the achievement of established objectives and plans\nRecommend appropriate training courses as per the pre-determined training needs, evaluate their effectiveness, and monitor their results\nCarry out performance appraisals for subordinates according to planned schedules and recommend necessary actions as per the applied practices\nConduct periodic meetings with subordinates to ensure that priorities are clear and workflow is running smoothly\nFollow-up on employees' administrative affairs such as vacations, leaves and other administrative and related affairs\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor Degree in Engineering or Business Administration related field.\nRequired Experience\nExpats: A minimum 7 years of experience.\nUAE Nationals: A minimum 4 years of
