This position is responsible for preparing, analyzing, and presenting financial reports to support business decision-making, while partnering closely with the Plant Controller and Finance Director. The Cost Accountant Manager will lead cost accounting activities, inventory controls, financial analysis, and month-end closing processes in a manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities\nPrepare and analyze weekly inventory and Purchase Price Variance (PPV) reports.\nDevelop quarterly excess and obsolete inventory reserve analyses.\nReview and approve inventory adjustments related to discrepancies, engineering changes, obsolescence, and other inventory-related transactions.\nAuthorize the appropriate use of general ledger accounts for manual journal entries.\nSupport the review and financial impact analysis of Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).\nPrepare, review, and analyze month-end journal entries.\nConsolidate, analyze, and explain financial results during the monthly closing process.\nLead the preparation and consolidation of annual standard costs.\nMonitor, analyze, and control manufacturing costs to ensure operational efficiency.\nPerform monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.\nCoordinate and support internal and external audits.\nOversee inventory adjustments, cycle count programs, and inventory accuracy initiatives.\nPerform monthly indirect material cost adjustments.\nMaintain accurate and up-to-date departmental documentation.\nActively participate in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs, training sessions, and initiatives.\nPromptly report unsafe conditions, incidents, injuries, spills, fires, or illnesses, regardless of severity.\nEnsure full compliance with all Environmental, Health, and Safety policies and procedures.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.\nMinimum of 5 years of progressive experience in finance and/or accounting, preferably within a manufacturing environment.\nStrong background in cost accounting, inventory management, and financial reporting.\nIntermediate to advanced English proficiency with the ability to communicate effectively in meetings and written correspondence.\nSkills & Competencies\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.\nStrong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory
