This role plays a key part in the Company’s reporting obligations, including periodic filings. The position reports to the Senior Manager, Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting and partners closely with external auditors, legal counsel, and cross-functional teams to deliver accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting.\nKey Responsibilities\nFinancial Reporting: Prepare and support the timely filing of multiple required financial reports. Assist in drafting financial statements, disclosures, and other lender reporting. \nTechnical Accounting: Research and analyze technical accounting issues for complex transactions in accordance with U.S. GAAP. Prepare accounting memoranda and support implementation of new accounting standards affecting financial reporting and disclosures.\nAudit and Compliance: Support external audit activities related to reporting and technical accounting, ensuring timely and accurate responses to auditor inquiries. Assist in compliance initiatives and maintain documentation supporting internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR).\nClose and External Reporting Process: Contribute to the quarterly and annual close processes to ensure accurate and complete external reporting within established deadlines. Support continuous improvement of reporting workflows and internal control procedures.\nCross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Finance, Legal, and other departments to support external reporting requirements and strategic initiatives.
