This individual contributor role reports to the Senior Manager, IT Service Delivery & Digital Workplace and supports employees across the global KGS tenant from India.\nThe role is equally accountable for adoption across the organization, making sure employees at every site and in every function know how to use Microsoft 365 well. Success is measured through usage data, training reach, and reduced support demand. The engineer works within the standards set by the governance and cyber security teams, turning policy into services that are well run and well used.\nKey Responsibilities\nMicrosoft 365 Platform Administration\nAdminister and configure Exchange Online, including mail flow, connectors, shared mailboxes, distribution lists, and transport rules.\nAdminister SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business, including site provisioning, permissions, storage, and sharing settings.\nAdminister Microsoft Teams, including meeting, calling, and messaging policies, app management, and Teams Rooms where applicable.\nConfigure and support Viva Engage, Microsoft Loop, Planner, Forms, Stream, and Bookings, and manage tenant settings in the Microsoft 365 admin center.\nManage Microsoft 365 Apps deployment and update channels in partnership with the endpoint team.\nAutomate administration tasks using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph, and maintain configuration documentation and as-built standards.\nIdentity, Licensing & Access\nManage license assignment through group-based licensing, along with Microsoft 365 groups and membership, within approved access policies.\nPartner with the identity team on Entra ID, conditional access, and MFA as they affect Microsoft 365 services, escalating exceptions to the policy owner.\nTrack license consumption and report right-sizing opportunities to the Senior Manager, IT Service Delivery & Digital Workplace.\nGovernance, Security & Compliance (Execution)\nApply the Teams and SharePoint standards set by the governance and cyber security teams to provisioning, naming, lifecycle and expiration, external sharing, and guest access.\nImplement Microsoft Purview sensitivity labels, retention policies, and data loss prevention (DLP) policies as directed by the cyber security and compliance teams.\nAction eDiscovery and legal hold requests as directed by the legal team.\nReview Microsoft Secure Score and recommendations relevant to Microsoft 365 workloads, and remediate findings with approval.\nAdoption & Change Management (Organization-wide)\nBuild and execute the Microsoft 365 adoption plan across all KGS sites and functions, and establish and run a Microsoft 365 Champions program.\nCreate training content, including quick-reference guides, short videos, live and virtual sessions, and onboarding content for new hires.\nRun targeted campaigns that move teams from file shares and email attachments to collaboration in OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams, and that introduce tools such as Loop and Planner.\nUse Microsoft 365 usage analytics, Adoption Score, and Viva Insights where available to measure adoption, identify low-usage groups, and target them.\nMaintain an internal Microsoft 365 help and learning hub on SharePoint.\nCommunicate Message Center roadmap changes to the business in plain language ahead of rollout.\nMigration & Projects\nExecute file share and legacy platform migrations into SharePoint Online and OneDrive using the SharePoint Migration Tool, Migration Manager, or third-party tools.\nSupport tenant consolidation, merger and acquisition, and divestiture work as required.\nPilot and roll out new Microsoft 365 features in a controlled, well-communicated way.\nSupport, Monitoring & Service Management\nServe as the second and third-level escalation point for Microsoft 365 incidents raised by the service desk and IT Field Engineers.\nMonitor Service Health and Message Center, assess the impact of incidents and changes, and manage Microsoft support cases through to resolution.\nUse ITIL Incident, Problem, and Change Management practices in the ITSM tool.\nCreate knowledge base articles that enable the service desk to resolve Microsoft 365 issues at first contact.\nWill be the on-call for critical Microsoft 365 incidents.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.\nMinimum of 4–5 years' experience administering Microsoft 365 in an enterprise environment.\nHands-on administration experience with Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Microsoft Teams.\nPowerShell scripting for Microsoft 365 administration, with working knowledge of Entra ID and license management.\nExperience delivering end-user training or adoption activities.\nWorking knowledge of ITIL practices and hands-on experience with an ITSM tool.\nAble to work onsite at the assigned KGS site in India, with the ability to travel up to 10%.\nFlexible schedule to accommodate overlap with the Americas and Europe and occasional on-call needs.\nPreferred Qualifications\n• Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, Teams Administrator Associate, or Collaboration Communications Systems Engineer.\n• Experience delivering SharePoint Online migrations at enterprise scale.\n• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview, including sensitivity labels, retention, data loss prevention, and eDiscovery.\n• Experience with Microsoft Graph API, Power Automate, and the wider Power Platform.\n• Prosci or other change management certification, with experience running Microsoft 365 champion programs.\n• Readiness and rollout experience with Copilot for Microsoft 365.\n• Experience with Intune and Microsoft 365 Apps deployment.\n• Experience in manufacturing or multi-site global organizations.\nKey Competencies\n• Strong communicator, able to explain technology clearly to non-technical users.\n• Trainer and
