NPI Engineer is responsible for ensuring that New Product Introduction (NPI), Transfer of Work (TOW), and Engineering Change implementation projects are executed in accordance with Kidde Global Solutions standards, ensuring an efficient transition into production, compliance with quality requirements, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes. \nKey Responsibilities.\nExecute NPI and TOW projects in accordance with Kidde Global Solutions standard processes.\nProperly document processes for transfer to the Production department.\nCoordinate and execute the development and approval of PRRs (Pilot Run Requests).\nCommunicate product validation and release results to external customers.\nComplete required training assignments and support the development of role-related competencies.\nFollow up on activities assigned within the Passport Process.\nManage and track engineering changes according to business requirements.\nProvide technical support to Production for process or product issues related to NPI and TOW projects.\nSupport time and motion studies, as well as the development of standard work.\nPrepare direct labor cost estimates for NPI and TOW projects.\nEnsure compliance with applicable regulations through the required analyses and validations.\nActively participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives and events.\nParticipate in EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) programs, training sessions, and communications.\nReport unsafe conditions, unsafe acts, incidents, injuries, spills, fires, or illnesses to ensure immediate response and corrective action.\nComply with all Environmental, Health, and Safety policies and procedures.\nBasic Qualifications. \nEducation.\nBachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.\nExperience.\nMinimum of 5 years of experience in electronic manufacturing.\nExperience with electronic board assembly and SMT processes.\nExperience in New Product Introduction (NPI) and Transfer of Work (TOW) projects.\nLanguages.\nAdvanced English proficiency, with the ability to effectively conduct business conversations.\nPreferred Qualifications. \nTechnical Knowledge.\nKnowledge of Oracle.\nLean Manufacturing principles.\nProblem-solving and root cause analysis techniques.\nProcess management.\nInterpretation and creation of BOMs (Bill of Materials).\nProficiency in Microsoft Project.\nProcess certification.\nIPC certification.\nKnowledge of ECO or TDA processes.\nManufacturing Standard Work and Cell Design.\nFinancial analysis and ROI
